Just bought the international, unlocked version of the Note. I love the touch response and find typing on the QWERTY to be surprisingly alright. This is my first touchscreen phone and I had misgivings about whether I could thumb-type reasonably quickly on a touch. After typing with the Note, my conclusion is that a hardware keyboard is not needed. Proper QWERTYs are only necessary for laptops & desktops. Putting a hardware keyboard in the Note would make it too heavy.
The large screensize is great for multimedia and one adapts quickly to it.
The Pen Tile screen is not much of a negative attribute because of the high pixel density. The screen gives the user a vivid encounter with visuals.
I have reservations about the camera. Nokia's old N82 5MP cameraphone gives sharper, vivid shots. It's hard to believe that the still cam is really 8MP.
I'll write more on my findings as I continue to live with the phone.
micheal barbosa, 21 Mar 2012note will never get ics updateHow do you know this ? ? ?
ijustwanttoknow, 21 Mar 2012actually when is the right time to charge this kind of phone??, is it until the battery was to... moreThe best way to prolong your battery is to charge when drained, and with the phone off. If you don't like bit, and keep worrying about losing data or not being to use your unit when not close to any charging points, invest on at least an extra battery and desktop charger. Cycle your batteries when at 1%, and charge the drained one at home. It beats carrying a charger and waiting for your phone top charge up.
actually when is the right time to charge this kind of phone??, is it until the battery was totally empty?? or any lower limit to make sure the battery is long lasting
i want to buy this phone ................but its rate is very high...........plz reduce it .................and give sm benifits.....?

AnonD-47297, 21 Mar 2012its actually not much difference other den the size and speed (note:1.4GHz S2 1.2GHz) battery ... morei even dropped my note once on the floor, it was wooden flooring though, nuthin hapnd to my note.
Tried my friend's note and seriously considering getting one. Unfortunately didn't find the S-Pen to be as accurate as I hoped. Handwriting recognition in particular was sub standard (they had better handwriting recognition years ago on windows mobile and symbian). Maybe and ICS update when it finally comes will fix this problem. Hope Sammy or other manufacturers get on the band wagon and bring out more models with an S-Pen.
xxx, 20 Mar 2012Im planning to get a new phone end of this month..and like both the phones (note,S2)..just con... moreits actually not much difference other den the size and speed (note:1.4GHz S2 1.2GHz) battery wise s2 seems to be better and lasting. touch sensitivity s2 leads the head also. if u dun mind bulky phone, u can try note. its really fast in loading pages. but if u got the habit of typing single handed, u should probably take s2 because if u used single hand on note, u must be prepared to drop it anytime. hope i did helped in this reply.
i had just got a white note recently. i was using iphone 4 before i changed it. overall i felt that the phone is much faster and better den the iphone 4. if u take care of it, u will just have to charge ur phone 1 more extra time a day if u are constantly on games or videos. however this is one issues that i thinks that iphone 4 is better. that is the touch screen while u text, is not as sensitive as the iphone. it reacted slower too. otherwise, its definitely worth the catch.
Mobile was marvelous..... But the price is too high. Pls consider it.....
I have SG Tab P6200 and SG Note N7000 specs is strong. when i uses both i found Tab is faster. Why? Is it bcuz it has OS3.2?
