i was just watching a comparison between the US model and the European model on youtube, and I notice that on the back cover of the US model the Galaxy Note has an NFC antenna while on the back cover of the euro model it does not. Here on GSM Arena, it says NFC optional. What does it mean?
Does the euro model have NFC or not?

Haha, most users expect that a "pocket PC" like the Note without any internal fan at all would do all that processing without much heat!? Calls, browsing, texting, and sketching won't generate much heat, but to expect it not to with processor hungry games is such a crap!

I have done full colored portraits that I have posted before using the Sketchbook Mobile app and the S pen on the Note. In fact, the S pen holder kit improved handling and joy of using the Note.

[deleted post]one handed operation isnt to hard ive had the phone a few months now once you get used to it u can rest it on your hand with just your little finger underneath to stop it falling and use your thumb to operate the screen i have small hands and i can reach everything except the top oposite corner wich you dont need to. i wouldnt advise one handed use while out and about just incase and it does take a while to get used to

I have a Samsung Galaxy note purchased in India. does it have NFC hardware or not? GSMARENA says optional does that mean hardware is embedded and it needs software to enable it?

It is a sheet cheating if NFC hardware is not there.

Can any one clarify.

I always thought the S-pen was more of a gimmick, that some one could kill time doodling stuff on the Note. It never struck me that professional designers, and architects could actually benefit from this.
