AnonD-40973, 05 Feb 2012Can anyone solve my query. I have decided to buy note but i came to know that in march andr... moreyou will have to upgrade it to ics yourself, as far as i know, all android deviceses come with the first android version that it came with when it was sold for the first time, anyway, you can upgrade it easly and it won't void your warrnty if you flashed it to an offical rom and if you did it right, believe me, buy it know before samsung releases other variants and you won't find the international verson easly.
Anonymous, 01 Feb 2012Is Galaxy note a mobile phone?Ya it's a mobile phone with tablet features
can v use skypee with webcam on ths mobile wnt to tak but ths is my query is anybody knw......pls rep me thanks
Great phone/ tablet! Especially with moderate use the battery gives me 2 full days without charging (44 hours to be precise) and with full use it easily gives 1 full day ( 20 hours). I use it to surf the web, check my mails & also play hd games. Needless to mention a high daily talk time ( 2 hours) . No strain on my eyes for reading web content anymore. Thank you Samsung!
AnonD-14018, 05 Feb 2012its not corning gorilla glass 2. Its just gorilla glass. or at least it should be.I would like to add that the link's video mentioned the Galaxy Note as one of the products that has Gorilla Glass 2.
a really innovative design by samsung.. a much larger screen than common cellphones and a much smaller and handy size than tablets.

I have decided to buy note but i came to know that in march android 4.0 will be released. so when that happens will the note come box packed with android 4.0 or even that time i will have to buy note with android 2.3.5 and then upgrade it to android 4.0.
This i am asking so that i will come to know if i should buy note now in February or wait till march.
Please reply. Thanks.
TheNeighbor, 04 Feb 2012Do not waste money on protective screens. The Gorilla Glass 2 is quite strong. Just don't sand... moreits not corning gorilla glass 2. Its just gorilla glass. or at least it should be.
My gf brand new galaxy note got a deep scratch about 1 cm in the middle of the screen . NO ideea how it got there since she never dropped it and she only kept it in her pocket.
I have an almost 2 year old galaxy S and i tryed to scratch it with various instruments and after 2 years only microscopic scratches are barely visible on it .
IF thats gorilla glass on the note how the hell did it scratch?
helo pilot, 04 Feb 2012its also important that you put your device in discovery mode generally by turning it on and ... moreYes, I tried that too. Nothing helps.
Sometimes it found some device (my laptop BT is always switched ON), but when I tried PAIR nothing happens.
I tried about 20 random devices, same results.
I even change my system several times, change different Kernels...no luck :/
The worst part is I have no warranty because I got it as a present from aboard.
Thanks for advice
appleftw, 03 Feb 2012This device is WAYYYY to big. Its a joke making phones this big. More like a tablet if you ask me?!It is a phone AND a tablet that you can pocket. It's called a Samsung Galaxy Note.
MrSammy, 04 Feb 2012Its bigger and better.. Ive just gone from the S2 to the Note.. bigger screen, faster processe... moreYes, it's definitely bigger but also has the pixel resolution of a tablet! 800 by 1280 is still bigger in the phone category, and more than an iPad.
