Anonymous, 17 Jan 2012bought an ipad instead. Is that meant to impress us?
Galaxy Note and Galaxy S2
They are exactly the same ! You should really see which looks better .
The only difference apart from the pen is the 5.3 inch screen which sure brings bigger screen , but don't think 1.2 vs 1.4 CPU speed makes much difference . The extra CPU speed is just to keep smoothness at higher resolution .
And in games Mali gpu is the best right now , but comparing these two note is running on higher resolution so that makes it logically slower than smaller galaxy s2 . It might not be much but its still a fact .
it's blue but very dark blue like black. it's big but not big as tab or ipad. it fits big pockets. meaning it's still pocketable. but a bit hard to hold single handed, mostly have to use both hands but considering the large hd super amoled screen,i don't mind. mine is 2.3.6 firmware,so far no software problem. i love this phone, the best screen so far.
Its just one of its kind....the 1.4 processor adds on to its performance and the size of the screen is really impressive...the s pen is soo useful to make notes and some real cool digital art...its the best option for all smartphone lovers.
Anonymous, 16 Jan 2012I think Samsung Galaxy Note is the best thing that has ever happened to mobile phones! It is s... moreI have the note got it for Xmas it's GREAT that's all I have to say. It is not available in US yet I am out of the country by far best phone I have ever owned. Get it you will not be disappointed
Does Samsung Galaxy Note require a scratch guard to be pasted onto the screen??
We we get sufficient battery life?
How different is "Note" from "S2"? (Other than it being big, having an S pen)
Guys, can this phone do skype video chat? like Iphone??
I found inly iphone cpable of this function. please test and let me know, this is the only thing hesitating me to buy it...
I bought the Galaxy Note a few days ago amd coming from the Galaxt Tab 7.0, I can say that it only took me a couple hours to adjust to the size of the screen... Maybe those coming from a smaller-sized phone would have diffculties, but so far I had none with regards to screen size... Rarely used the stylus though...
Very good smartphone. It's really superior to other phones in most aspects due to the great specs and the huge screen and hi-res. The only drawbacks I found are:
1. Uncomfortable to hold in the palm. Sometimes the volume and the power button are accidentally pressed.
2. Speaker volume especially during calls is not high enough to my my opinion. Galaxy S II's speaker was more powerful.
Anonymous, 16 Jan 2012Galaxy note & Galaxy s2 which one better in features wise???????????????plz From the software point of view they are almost identical, only the Note has the stylus related software - you can draw notes.

Max, 16 Jan 2012I have used Samsung Galaxy Note for quite a while now but I have found two problems. The "... moreCould you set up the primary number for that contact? I am thinking of getting this for my upgrade, but i am worried its durability in long term (it's high quality plastic, i know) as I am using HTC with its aluminum body, which is really durable (tripped the charging cable and the phone was slammed really hard onto metal table leg, but nothing happened, except for some paint loss)..
Not that I am saying it's not durable like some other glass phone, but coming from aluminum phone, i wonder how it will fare against my own abuse (I dropped/toss/slide-on-the-table/slammed my phone quite often)
yeaaaahhh..... This phone so extraordinary and better, not other...!!! :) i like this phone SUPER SMARTPHONE
ruatasena007, 16 Jan 2012I have bought the galaxy S II a couple of months back. I wanted the Note but it was still not ... moreI only had the pleasure of handling the S2 demo unit. I love the power and features but not enough to get the S2. I think you should still stick to your S2 if you don't need the S pen to do digital art. Not much point in bumping up to another inch of screen or just the processor if you would complain of "not able to operate it with just one hand". if I had the S2 first than the Note, I can probably stick with it for another 2 to 3 years. But if you have an extra $700 to spare for the awesome Note, there's not much point in having 2 powerful phones at all times.
