Galaxy1, Galaxy2 and yesterday bought Galaxy Note.. samsung just keeps on inspiring. No Scratches, no color fading/spots, fits well in jeans, a right communication/information tool of today.
Prob the best phone ive ever used. They say the screen is too big but thats becuase they've never actually tried holding it in the hand or they just cant afford to buy it. Go hold one in a store you can so easily hold it and put it in your pocket. Of course small handed boys stray away from reading this now but small handed girls...thats why you carry handbags. 1080p screen 285 PPI...amazing...processor and GPU speed are great and lightning fast preformance...and never get bored watching your movies on long car rides for a short period of battery time with a 3.5inch screen (battery is good for 8 hours of super heavy wifi usage and 720p play back with wifi on and screen brightest and lasts for a whole day for the frequent facebook updater). As they say once you go Note you can never go back ;). (btw its true after holding if for a couple hours it just feels like the s2 same slim feel lil fragile and you get used to the size and screen quality fast.) and as i said: best phone ive EVER purchased. Longest review ive ever wrote for a phone ive had thats how amazing it is and i could write more but now i feel like i turned into a phone boy lol. Cheers to samsung you did well my friends.
Can we use stylus for chatting ??? i mean just write a message and get converted in text on messenger or sms and send it ....pls help
i using note from week ...only pb is that i have to charge every day...
The S-Pen screen and processing power are keys reasons to buy this phone. I stuck this with velcro on to a slightly bigger calendar planner sleeve. This is my temporary solution for no accessories available yet to protect it from scratches and theft. It's the size of an A6 and it really will look like you are writing something on a notebook. I plan to use it for productivity mainly, internet and not much for calls. My other cheaper phone can handle phone calls and texting. 5 days owning this has been magical. I've only used less than 20% of the 1.97GB ROM for coding and apps. The S-Pen is and the sketching performance is relatively pretty impressive.
After trying out HD videos on this baby, I'm never going back to regular video quality! The 8 MP camera is excellently clear.
I have yet to try the video editing.
The Galaxy Note is perfect for work, and yes, everything else. It's currently the most powerful phone in the market until something else new replaces it.
Woodworm, 21 Nov 2011 I prefer galaxy note tablet fone to ipad 2 for its super specifications and portability... moreDont be intimidate by net browsing battery test.
In the net browsing test, they refresh page each 10s. In reality, no one can read at that speed. So it will consume much less power. Besides, it GN is the fastest web browser, faster than Iphone 4S, biggest screen (dont have to zoom at all). In reality, its the best phone for web browsing
1) Got it before 7 days. Extremely best phone-mini Tab.
2)It's big but after a while it feels like S II. ( I had S II already).
3)The screen, the processing power, the speed, battery
life damn good.
4)As i mentioned above i had already S II. But in S II
the Indian language (i.e. Hindi, Marathi etc. ) is
not readable. But in the NOTE it is readable. I
think NOTE uses the Unicode.
5)Till today i didn't use the stylus so there is no
comments on that.
6)The cover is superb. It protects the display without
increasing the weight and thickness.
7) Just one thing it took too much time to recharge the battery. Not only this every Samsung mobile running on Android took long time to charge the battery. ( I am a Android running Samsung mobile fan I had already used the Galaxy (1.5), Galaxy S, S II these all are power hungry and took long time to charge the battery)
THE BEST PHONE+MINI TAB.
THANK YOU SAMSUNG.
best mobile phone i hv ever used, fastest, slim n loads of battery makes it no.1 smartphone.
Finally after waiting and looking for all options of importing the phone or wait for it to be launched in my region. Calling customer care asking for the perfect launching date. Here I get my galaxy note finally. To say this is a super monster phone have never seen before .. worth waiting and buying .. Had been a HTC user but after just trying Samsung I can all say Samsung have got everything right this time ... on the other hand I think HTC is loosing its track ... though me beeing loyal to HTC for so many years there was a taught in me to go for Samsung or Wait for HTC Sensation XL ... But now no regret .... Samsung You Rock .... & Thankyou for giving a Super Phone .....
siva, 22 Nov 2011hey guys........please share your galaxy note battery back?------------thanksI love this monster phone nothing to worry battery is super .... charge it forget it ....
I had the iPhone 4 and decided to upgrade to a larger screen. I dared to buy the Note after a lot of research. If you can live with the extra 2cm on each side then this phone/mini tablet is amazing. Fast, bright, nice camera, thin, lightweight, feature-packed, BIG screen. This phone and the android os have it all. This comes from a guy that has the i-pod, i-pad, i-phone, appleTV.
Great device of course, but how much it will market due to it's high end price?only those who have some income can avail it .The huge portion of mid-range samsung lovers will be untouched !
MAKE A CHEAPER VERSION OF-
1 GHZ PROCESSOR,
5 MP SHOOTER,
720 P VIDEO,
8 GB INTERNAL STORAGE,
1800 mah BATTERY etc.
all others same being same.
and keep the price below 20k
i think then it can capture the both market of tablets and smartphones.
Are there any tint issues?
Like Yellow or White tint on the screen visible in any specific or normal backgrounds?
I hesitated to but the GS2 for the infamous YELLOW tint on left.
Also are there any OVERHEATING and BATTERY DRAIN issues like the SGS2 had?
So thinking of NOTE now, are there any such screen or other issues? :/
