Anvesh, 08 Nov 2011samsung is not created name like nokia, blackberry, htc, apple and motorola. thees brands made na... moresmartphones and differentiated by their performance.. the issue here isn't samsung per se, its the OS involved.. since the advent of the android OS platform others began to decline and samsung is only making maximum use of the aesthetic features of the android platform

Anonymous, 11 Nov 2011Its dangerous to believe one's propaganda. Markets are invented all the time. Often the first ... moreMarkets cannot be invented if demand already exists. It's basic economics... look it up. If you think yours is the only kind of demand that exists, then you are quite wrong. Pixel Density, ergonomics might be important to you, but not to every other consumer in the world. The questions that you ask might be entirely different from the ones that the rest of the world does. Unless you claim to know what the entire wants and needs.
mon.A, 10 Nov 2011hi there i'm from egypt too, alexandria (a7san nas) ;p
to be specific any way i believe that... morehey am from alex as well but living in cairo recently..anyways,i usually check elshennawy site..and i'll check the other one u provided too..i havent had heard about the samsung s2 Hd LTE until u mentioned it but i donno why u may prefer it to the galaxy note..ialready have an iphone 4 but i sent it to emirate to reapir the lousy mic problem which vodafone here refused to repair or even look at it because it's jailbroken..am a little afraid bcoz the samsung too has the same noise cancellation dedicated mic WHICH is the cause of ma problem in the ifone 4,it dealt with any voice as a noise and thus cancelled it so the caller never hear me..
anyways,i'll just wait for the note to be released and see its price hope it wont b too high though ;-) good luck waiting for the galaxy s 2 LTE :-)
bot it 3days ago, amazing screen real estate, I can never go back to puny screen size again. Phone fits perfectly well and back and front pocket, it is also very light.
though phone calling quality is average at best, otherwise its a beast of a hardware. Am using it without flip cover, feels much better that way.
gandalfthegeek, 11 Nov 2011You cannot "invent" a market. Either a market exists or it doesn't. In this case, it... moreIts dangerous to believe one's propaganda. Markets are invented all the time. Often the first port of call is for the military. They invent the market to succeed in war or prevention of war.Later on these inventions are drafted for civilian use eg the Hummer vehicle.
The prospective buyer on perusing the various features of the Hummer decides whether to buy. Thus, it is the invention that invents the market because people's
interests are aroused by the features.
Samsung's Note is an invented market. It is hoping to arouse people's interest by the unusual feature of having a screen halfway between the size of a phone and a tablet. Samsung are thus creating ie inventing a market.
However it is the answer to a question that was never asked because professionals will need a bigger screen ie a proper sized tablet or notebook. Phone use in the modern sense of the word, needs a smaller screen. SGSII's 4.3 inch screen is at the limit of a portable multi-functional phone. There are so many items on the SGSII that need improving eg screen resolution ( at 217 ppi it is barely better than Nokia's N8! ) but instead Samsung soldiers on to answer a question that was never asked!
Close to the greatest cell phone
to make it the greatest pls add
1) Dual SIM
2) Slider QWERTY
3) Screen size 4.8"
Steve J, 11 Nov 2011Hold on a minute! This device is too big for a phone. Portability is essential for a mobile. I... moreYou cannot "invent" a market. Either a market exists or it doesn't. In this case, it clearly does and Samsung has been smart enough to recognize that. Business users, creative professionals, media-intensive power users -- all of them would benefit from the larger screen real estate enormously.Videos clearly show that the device is quite portable as long as you're not wearing skin-tight clothes. Way better than purchasing a mobile phone AND a tablet and then lug both around. The real clinchers are:
1) The battery life, which is absolutely gold considering the kind of heavy-duty usage this device is likely to undergo.
2)The stylus which will likely prove to be extremely useful for the kind of users this device is targeted at.
Hold on a minute! This device is too big for a phone. Portability is essential for a mobile. It is ridiculous holding what looks like a slice of bread when making or receiving calls. We who fought for the phone revolution did not do so, only to have the ugly face of unportability thrown back at us.
Samsung would have been better off retaining the screen size of SGSII but increasing the screen resolution. Furthermore the sound quality of the earpiece and speakers of SGSII and this Note could be vastly improved. These devices are primarily phones and Samsung should not forget this.
Apple have beaten Samsung in the tablet war. Sammy is now trying to invent a new niche market. It is answering a question that was never asked!
my friend got 1 of these.. This phone is off the chain
id love to get 1
