Most popular notepads get upgraded/improved within a year or so.
Why didn't Samsung produce any new/improved model for Note Pro 12.2 since 2014?
The surprising thing is that it was successful and, meanwhile, not available in the market!

I had for two months now, it's very good. I just upgraded it to 5.0.1 lollipop and it's working perfectly.I think its one fastest device I have ever use.Good work to Samsung

Had it for a couple of years now and it's a great tablet for work, media, games or browsing but a bit large for reading, for example. As of mid 2016 the latest software release is 5.0.1. I hope they do one more round of updating as it's still a current model.

I got totally disappointed with this device. After two days, the battery started draining faster, like the unit got shut down after 10-12 hours without any operation(only std by mode). Then, battery charging got ridiculously longer(it got 48 to 72 hours to fully charge with normal electrical supply). Moreover, the device is not strong, for example it bends easily emitting a crackling sound. I gave it to service center, but for no avail. Utterly disappointed, even cannot sell it for 100 $. I purchased it for 950$.

Tried updating the software to lollipop version, but it still saying it has the latest which is the kitkat version. When is the device will get an update for lollipop version?

Tablet has not updated since it became available. It's always been on Kitkat 4.4.2
