its an ok phone as is.. tryin to root but not looking good for the set up... n smart switch still doesnt work for it ... good thing i got mine free cuz its a brick now..

My phone loads the samsung on5 start up logo, but it won't load anything after that. It just stays at a black screen and won't show the second samsung logo.
I've tried rebooting and still nothing.
Please help with this issue as this is my primary phone and need it.

Many users reported that On7 received the update does not have theme support, so i doubt on5 upgrade also will not include theme support :-( . Also i downloaded & read the marshmallow version user manual Samsung uploaded on their website, have not found anything about theme support or settings. That's going to be disappointing.

[deleted post]Just bought one for my stepson today...Marshmallow installed...$120 for phone and 1st months prepaid service from T-Mobil store....good deal for the price :)

features that are not available are
playstore
youtube and many others.
it has a chinese system and I don't know Chinese

After putting in SIM, with slot for data sim the phone hangs. Unable to reset also. Have to remove the battery and start again.
No solution is being provided for this.

I haven't had any issues with touch sensitivity, but the camera is surprisingly horrible. Switched from a 3yo Samsung which had an amazing camera in comparison, it was an unpleasant surprise.
