Plz. Anybody plan to buy this pocked, don't purchase it.
It has following deficiencies:
1) Automatically switched off
2) Unexpected become heated make u fear
3) Low battery back up
4) Sometime hanged over and not working also generate some amount of heat, etc.

I am very sad. For parchase the samsung galexy 5300 poket.
The phone have so many problems.
1 .Low battery
2 .internet not good
3. Some time Switched of again and again 30 sec

PLEASE Go for parchase Samsung other android mobiles.

most of galaxy range turns off automatically early of getting its battery dead. its important for its internal use and also helps whenever you have to make an emergency call. press the lock/unlock button for about 20 to 30 seconds. this will turn on the phone again, if you want to make emergency calls or check e-mail. you don't need to re-insert battery. let your phone fully charged. if its new, then do not unplug it, even if it says to unplug when fully charged. this will prepare the battery fully.

It's a good mobile with affordable price. Large internal memory so you can installed more apps instead of external memory (MicroSD). The downside is this phone can't install some games especially 3d games from gameloft.

I already bought this phone. If you want to use internet, enable WiFi in or on your own load setting> wireless and networks> mobile networks> use packat data. Then it will automatically enabled, and you will see the EDGE sign. It depends on your own setting before you use packet data.

ranjeet, 26 May 2012a big diffrence between galaxy y and galaxy pocket............the ram of galaxy y is 290MB and... moredudes Samsung galaxy y has a ram of 269 MB.. ND galaxy pocket has 289 MB.. Much.faster than y...
