I bought samsung gal. pokt about a week ago,i am very satisfied with its performance.it is compact and light phone .It has all features and also with same quality as other samsung android mobile in the range of 10k and above. Only cons. is that it has low resolution screen, but it's not bother me.
Overall it is a very handy phone for those who can compromise with its small qwerty keypad which is fitted in 2.8" screen.

Frndzz u all know,this phone supports arm6 processor,poor resolution,less pixel density and android 2.3.
But before buying this crap, take a look at sony xperia tipo,which is their latest release. What you get is a new and stylish phone,better resolution(320*480) which support many apps,new processor(same as of htc explorer) which can support adobe flash,gpu for gaming,dual sim functionality,vga video recording,and top of that a thing which neither this piece of shit or explorer gives you... Latest android...4.0.4.and this tipo will be around rs 8,000.
Not beleive me.ok search on google and then look for urself.
Its shipping in quarter 3 of 2012,so you will have to wait a little.
But for little wait u r getting best product in this price range. So descision is urs, wanna play on xperia or cry with this shit.
Make gud use of ur money as if u buy this now, u gonna cry later if you see xperia tipo in some other hand some time later.

I read that this model ... moreSamsung Galaxy Pocket has ARMv6 processor, and this processor does not support some apps like Mozilla Firefox, Adobe Flash Player 11, etc.......... But some phones like HTC Explorer, etc. have ARMv7 processor, which supports more apps like Mozilla Firefox, Adobe Flash Player 11, etc............. ARMv7 processor is new, and more-advanced.

I purchased this mobile and from day1 i had issues. The mobile phone gets turned off when its idle and i am not able to turn-on using power button. I have to remove the battery and put it back. I have given to service center and they said it had software issue and updated it. Again the same problem appeared on smae day. This mobile is given for replacement 9 days ago.
My first budget smart phone is very very poor. I am not convinced that this is any better than Galaxy Y.
Better choose Galaxt Y or HTC Explorer. Do not opt for this model, pelase

This is the worst phone.....i've been using it since about 2 months now.....
It automatically shuts down anytime......cant install adobe 11.....hangs very often.....screen is small and have a low resolution.....heats up quickly....and battery backup is very bad...doesnt last in my journey of 4hrs inspite of being fully charged....after switching it on we have to wait a bit before we can start our work....if we start imediately it hangs.......
Final word: DONT BUY THIS THING...........im gonna sell it and buy another phone instead....

This is the mobile automaticaly shutdowns. Though you charge battery d whole night, stand by is only 10 to 15 min. PLs don't buy this. moreover service is too worst from SAMSUNG

So im deciding what to buy, galaxy y or pocket. And the only reason id choose pocket is because they say it supports adobe flash player. Is it true? So if thats so then can i play facebook games or the games in y8 using galaxy pocket?

Galaxy Pocket has ARMv6 processor, which does not support some apps like Mozilla Firefox, Adobe Flash Player 11 (so ALL TYPES of video streaming is not possible), etc. Also has no GPU for better gaming, small screen (only 2.8 inch), poor screen resolution (only QVGA), low 3G speed (3.6 Mbps), no FREE micro-sd card in the box, etc ............. But if you are disappointed, or become angry, I'm sorry for that !!!............... Real truth is sometimes very difficult to digest !!!

Galaxy pocket have too much small screen only common games you can play not like the others like L3 can play HD games bigger screen. Cheapest Price, Cheapest Performance/Graphics.
