pady, 16 May 2012it has 289 MB ram, nice touch. battery backup is also good.and i got it for 7300 rupees. nice phoneBut not-value-for-money.......... Overpriced phone with poor features, like - small screen, poor screen resolution, low 3G speed, poor camera with no flash, no dual sim, poor battery backup, etc......... At this price-level better phones are available in the stores.

Anonymous, 12 May 2012How can u say like that? can u give the reasonDude i already bought a unit and use it for a week but i have dissappointment with the handsets. Temple Run cannot function in the Handsets. So i bought a new Optimus L3 E400 its more better and Temple Run is functioning.

I think LG Optimus L3 E400 is better than Galaxy Pocket S5300, just compare it, LG L3 has better camera (3mp autofocus), and the rest are almost the same. Ang the same price.. U can play temple run on LG L3 but not in Galaxy Pocket. But this is also good. Nc phone for youngster like me. ^_^

peyir, 15 May 2012I want my first android phone.Should I buy it?Please tell me.Certainly Samsung Galaxy Pocket is an overpriced device with less, and poor features.......................Samsung Galaxy Pocket has a very small-screen (only 2.8 inch, hence Lilliput-fingers are needed), poor screen-resolution (only 240 X 320 pixels, or QVGA, which is not very pleasant experience for the eyes), lowest 3G-speed (HSDPA : 3.6 Mbps only), low-pixel camera (2MP) with no flash, poor battery-life, etc., also (it has 3gb internal memory, but unlike other phones) Samsung does not provide any FREE Memory Card in the box of this phone (so think about this)............................So the price of this phone should be reasonable, and which must be significantly-lower than its elder-brother Galaxy Y ( i.e., Indian Rs. 4000/- to 5000/-) and only then this Galaxy Pocket will be value-for-money mobile phone, and will be fitted with everybody's Pocket...............................Before buying , compare it with other Android (value-for-money) phones, such as - HTC Explorer, etc.
