Not at all worth. HTC Explorer is far better than Galaxy Pocket.HTC Explorer Processor speed(600MHz) is low compared to Galaxy Pocket(832MHz). Still HTC is the best among the budget android phones.
Do not buy this phone. This is an expensive with same old features. If it had Android 4.0 (Icecream sandwich) i would have thought of buying it at may be a lower price point of say Rs. 5000(small 2.8 inch screen, low screen resolution, very low 3g speed etc.) Samsung thinks people are fool. I wonder why anyone will buy this phone.
varikuti krishna, 18 Apr 2012Dear Friends, Which is better in samsung galaxy y or galaxy pocket....Don't buy galaxy y r pocket bcz the main drawback is the screen color resolutions, they r only 65k color which is very low quality.
8k. Lame. Total flop from samsung. Even galaxy y is better nd cheaper than this. Not cool. Even a fool will not buy it.
"HTC Explorer" has better screen-size (3.2 inch), better screen-resolution (320 X 480 pixels, or HVGA), better 3g-speed (14.4 Mbps), better camera (3.15 MP), better battery-backup, and supports adobe-flash-player (for streaming videos) with a 600 MHz cpu............The average price of "HTC Explorer" is Indian Rs. 8000/-.
Is display capacitive or resisitive? Here they r showing TFT touchscrean.
Which is better in samsung galaxy y or galaxy pocket....
sam15, 18 Apr 2012it does not worth more than 5k , and for 8k htc explorer is there two times better to this looser..Planned to buy two Galaxy Pocket. But now indeed buying 2 HTC Explorer. At 8150, it is not at all worth to buy Galaxy Pocket.
This phone is not worth 8K. May be the built in 3GB memory makes the phone costly. But rest assured, Galaxy Y is better and cheaper.

Nice future but ,3G Speed as per compare to the price samasung galaxy y has 7.2 mbps speed in 3G.
For those who would like to have a clue on this phones price, comparing this to Samsung Galaxy Y it has ..Googles Android v2.3(gingerbread) OS unlike its sibling which has a higher version of v2.3.5
..smaller screen size
..lower screen resolution
..no proximity sensor
..and lower 3G speed,
this would probably cost under a $115,but surely lower than the Galaxy Y:-)
