I love my phone and i am really comfortable with it.

this is my first and still usable smartphone. It easy on the pocket,cute and generally a good performer. But i now realise that it hangs to the extent it just freezes and i have to pull battery out then back in to restart;hardly the rebooting that you know and one runs real risk of data loss. And this happens with about half internal memory committed and several Apps running. On music download,its manager is a great organizer and playback thru earphones good. Back speaker purrs with more volume. Mass e-mailing,texting,calls,internet are ok although battery that has to get new charge every couple of hours is the poor drag. Bottom line: GOOD though am now looking to a more faster,better and fairly cheap Samsung. And i know you are that asset that can help me out with practical replacements..,and thanking you in anticipation!

Just reflash ur phone. turn off ur phone then hold the power button+home key+volume up then wipe, last reboot

Im using a custom dialer in my rooted phone and Im ok with that. bt try, or find same kind of app from Google play.

Ruxandra, 27 Jun 2013Ok. You DON'T want this phone!! i lost my last phone, so i found myself with a samsung galaxy ... moreitz up to you dude. this is not a basic phone. if you had a normal basic phone, nothing won't ever happen like that.
Im always saying, if you are using a budget smartphone like this, you have to manage it yourself. don't use unwanted widgets, live walpapers and in every time you can, clean the RAM. close unwanted running apps. you can use an app like Clean Master, bt if you can do it manually, you can save the RAM memory taken for that too.
I'm using this phone for a long time. I've used 678MB from the ROM, using some automated background apps. but I haven't such troubles. I already rooted this. and I think if you have a budget phone like this, rooting is the best solution. then you can manage apps yourself, can stop unwanted boot in apps, you can select what apps should be run when Mobile data is on. that helps you to browse internet faster. like that you can manage your phone as you want, not to be lag. but if you can't root, its ok. manage with allowed features.
then you don't need to restart it everytime. you will feel this is the best phone ever wroth for double price you paid for this.
