charline, 07 Feb 2013Hey I just want to know I baught my samsung galaxy pocket s5300 but when ever I put my sim car... morego to settings then go to accounts and sync and switch that off by unchecking the green ticks. then go to about phone also in settings and uncheck the green ticks. and make sure their are no ongoing internet applications running in the background select menu by pressing on the left side of the hard key and look for exit option. then download opera mini and never use the default browser cause that eats credit quickly. also don't use the factory applications like Google search and gmail. use all those in opera mini

I love this fone. I cant believe how fast it performs. The only bad thing is it comes with the poorest camera ever. But for the price, its worth it.

you can go to "settings" then "wireless and networks" and choose "mobile network settings" and then uncheck "Use packet data" and the packet data should be off

Anonymous, 22 Jan 2013Can whtsapp be downloaded ?Yes it can be downloaded. Just go in the google play store and search whatsapp for android. If it says its free its still going to take some of your airtime mand make sure you buy Megabytes before using playstore

I have it, and is a very good phone for the price. never expected so much from such a cheap phone. At work someone else has the galaxy Y, and they are pretty much the same (the Y has proximity sensor, thats all).
