Make sure your device's bluetooth is discoverable. Because if you turn on your BT, it is hidden by default. Now go to settings >>> wireless and networks >>> bluetooth settings >>> turn it on and put a check on the DISCOVERABLE option. Take note of tha duration of visibility that will appear.

Sir,
Here are my answers.
1) HAND WRITING RECOGNITION feature works on this phone.
2) WHATSAPP application is compatible to this phone and it works fine.
3) DOUBLE TAP always appear to its screen when you're calling to prevent unnecessary actions because of its sensitive touch screen, there's no option to remove it.
4) VIBRATE when turning on or off, you can go to settings >>> sound >>> vibrate >>> never.
5) TEMLE RUN is not compatible to this phone due to low RAM capacity, you can't download it.
6) QWERTY keyboard works on this. You can switch to qwerty or the standard 4x3 keypad.
7) DEFECTIVE phone? May i ask you? Did you buy your handset to an authorized samsung retailer or somewhere else? There's a big DIFFERENCE to original one or the fake one. And also, if that is really true, don't you know that original handsets have a 1 year warranty from samsung service centers? It's free of charge.
I've been using this phone for 3 months now and faced no major setbacks except for the battery life but i'm happy because at this price, it gives me all that i needed on a low end smartphone.

My 2 months old Samsung Galaxy Pocket loses NW connection very frequently. When this happens, I cannot call or receive, sms or use internet and have to restart my phone. This is very serious problem that almost every phone owners are facing.

Just upgraded to Samsung Galaxy Pocket S5300 from Nokia Eseries. Have experienced problems from the get go. Phone not receiving calls, have to switch off and switch on again. Store upgraded SIM Card and problem still persists. Anybody experiencing same problems or is this generic to Samsung?????
