Samsung initially teased the Galaxy Ring at its Unpacked launch event for the Galaxy S24 family back in January, then showcased it at MWC in February, then finally fully launched it in July. The Galaxy Ring 2 has so far once been rumored to arrive earlier in the year in 2025 than its predecessor, and now a new report confirms this.
It goes on to claim that the Galaxy Ring 2 will actually be officially announced at Unpacked on January 22, alongside the Galaxy S25 family. At the same event Samsung will also show its first XR headset.
The Galaxy Ring 2 will have two extra sizes, this report says, so those previously rumored sizes won't be for the original Galaxy Ring as initially thought. The extra size options are there to make the Galaxy Ring 2 a better competitor to Oura's rings, apparently.
The Galaxy Ring 2 will have more accurate health data sensors and improved AI functionalities. Battery life should be at least seven days for all sizes. Unfortunately there's no word on NFC support, so it may be left out of this generation as well.
Thats correct dont like and will not buy. BMI scales at home used once a day for example at evening before i go to sleep are good enough.
Smart rings are the same as a smart watch in terms of tracking your fitness and health info, they just designed it into a ring. So do you just carry BMI scales everywhere you go? no people use these instead and millions of smart phone users use ...
they don't come with screens, Smart rings capture the info and send it to your device, in detail through apps to view when you want to
