When receiving a text i mgs I use edge lighting and it stays there for 6/8 seconds. But that's good as I wont miss any mgs But you can swipe the notification away as soon as you get mgsn emails. I do that sometimes. I really dont think the update caused it as it was mainly for security fixes. Hope this helps:)
Maggi, 18 Feb 2020Sorry. I mispelt.your name . My apologies:)Maggi, I just updated the February security update. Seem battery improved though need more time to confirm that. Please tell me your opinion! Thanks

Does this phone support VoLTE and VoWIFI in ALGERIA?
Azhar , 18 Feb 2020The main problem is the phone that 6.4 inches There is no problem in this screen size, it is compact and in good size. Good for watching videos and surfing the apps, if you want less size go for S10 (6.1) or S10e (5.8) that should come within your size.
Bat21, 18 Feb 2020I understand your point and its one way of dealing with no power when your out in the boonies.... moreUnderstand and agree about the cord hanging and other inconveniences. However I would be staggered if your battery degraded so much in 5 years let alone 12 months. I have had several Samsung phones - s2, s4, s6, s8, and now s10 for about 4 months. I have always kept my phones for 2 years and none of them ever showed obvious signs of battery degradation. Of course what I can no longer do is take out the battery and re-install it in order to re-start my phone as I sometimes had to do on my s4 but nor have I needed to do since then either.

scorpio, 17 Feb 2020It would be easier and cheaper to carry a small power bank that you easily hook up to your phone.I understand your point and its one way of dealing with no power when your out in the boonies. But after a while your going to have your power bank attached permanently to the phone once the unchangeable battery ages over a year later and dies down to 30% capacity from heavy use. Unless you fork over money and time to send it back to Samsung /service center to change out the battery, for a new one. Which will cost about 100 + cdn dollars. So you have a phone with a battery charging pack and wire hanging out of it. Its not a great way to deal with a phone when your active. The charging cord hangs up on stuff, the charging cable becomes unplugged from the phone in your pocket.
I prefer the two second swap out of the battery's. It also helps if your phone hangs up. You can take out the battery. Then put it back in to reboot the phone.
On my note 4 buy I can a new battery at 16$ on Amazon that is 7500 mAh ..double the 3200 mAh original battery capacity. Cheaper then buying a battery charging bank.
