I am from Bangladesh. I have purchased a Samsung S10 plus mobile from Saudi Arabia last month. I used it for a few days there. Now I have come to Bangladesh. Now, I see only Saudi Arabia ads. I can not access to Huawei and Samsung Bangladesh Facebook page. I searched on Facebook and found Bangladesh page but I open the bangladesh page it automatically opens Saudi Arabian page. Saudi Arabian IP is probably on my mobile which cannot be changed. I wish your kind and best cooperation in this matter.

Each person will have thier own preferences wether it be face unlock, iris scanner or fingeprint scanner. Its all about security for thier phone and the confidence they feel having it on thier phone. I use fingerprint scanner on my s9 plus. I use ultrasonic fingerprint on s10 plus.

Maybe you can still have it on and just use it if you can't use the finger print scanner at the back. I usually have mine on but use the fingerprint scanner at the back of my s9 before I switched to the s10+.

The sunlight in summer would do more damage. Looking at bright screen can cause eye damage. But if we thought about all these negatives we wouldnt use our phone. You use whatever secure method your happy with:)
Maggi, 06 Sep 2019Yeah. But there will always be something new. Technology changes everyday. Thats the good thing. Recently I saw an American Youtuber that explains that face recognition lock is not secured, he gave a demo and he set a face recognition and then he took his selfie with another phone then he try to unlock the phone with the help of selfie and the phone really got unlock but when I tried the same thing then the selfie didn't work for me so I guess that face recognition is safe for me and about Iris scanner you are right the red LED opens for some seconds but still it's way to long I mean to unlock the phone through iris you have to hit the power button or 3d touch then swipe then it detect your eyes then it'll unlock I feel its lil inconvenient it's better to use rear mount biometric touch without hitting power button.
I wonder when we will get 1st september update....
Ben , 05 Sep 2019Ultra sonic biometrics is faster plus its secured but face recognition is not a secured option... moreYeah. But there will always be something new. Technology changes everyday. Thats the good thing.
Apple User, 06 Sep 2019They omitted the iris scanner because there isn't enough space on the front of the phone. Also... moreYour right about there being no room for iris scanner because i think samsung trying to do away with bezels or notches completly.

The iris scanner will not damage the eye because if you look at iris recongnition LED more than 10 seconds it automatically stops recongition to protect the eyes. So there is no harm to the eyes.
Apple User, 06 Sep 2019They omitted the iris scanner because there isn't enough space on the front of the phone. Also... moreI didnt know that about the iris scanner can cause damage to eye. Ii have it on s9 plus. But never used that feature.
Everything is so smooth. on this phone. . I have to point out that S10+ battery is amazing. I have s9 plus and battery on it is good. But i get longer on s10 +. I like both s10+ and s9 plus which ive only owned 9 months. Im glad both phones have calls & message continuity. AR emojis are the same as s9 plus got camera update like s10. But extra features on s10+. Even though s10+ is 6.4 and s9 plus is 6.2 cant notice much diff in size. But really happy owning s10+.
Apple User, 06 Sep 2019They omitted the iris scanner because there isn't enough space on the front of the phone. Also... moreI'm not aware about iris scanner effects, if you are saying that it may damage retina then I believe ya and now I remove my data of iris scanner security lock, Thank you.
