Nope it doesn't go away unless you unlock your phone and swipe the notification away.
Tried on 2 different Androids ‐ galaxy s10 and Nokia 8
(Btw iphone 8 has better audio quality than your J6)

I have a J6 that I use as a spare phone and just to play with Android. I have an iPhone 8 that I use as my main phone. When I play music on my J6 and I pause it, then turn my screen off and then back on again, the control panel for music on the lock screen disappears. Is this normal with Samsung phones, also with flagship S models?

Tested Samsung devices on a local store and this and s10e blew my mind, comfortable, easy to use, fast, the hole was really small in person. We really need more devices of this size.

Purchased S10 2 weeks back & I have no regrets. It is an awesome device & a nice upgrade from my previous S9. Battery life is much better & Dynamic Amoled Screen is to die for. No call dropping & great speaker volume.

R R , 31 Aug 2019Please Advice which Best Phone Samsung s 10 & I phone X...I love iOS because I think iOS is more stable and durable in any ways. I am using Apple Macbook and iPad but I am using Android phone (i.e. Samsung phone right now). It is because I hate Apple's bluetooth and NFC in its iPhone, they are so exclusive, they cannot connect with other devices.
And what make worse, I am using a phone, not laptop/tablet as my daily driver. So, who are wrong? iPhone or me? LOL
