The 5th S10 series phone, this was supposed to be the A91, but retained the S series naming mostly for marketing purposes.
This one is confusing a bit, especially when compared to the co-launched Note10 Lite, and the rest of the S10 series of phones.
The cameras were clearly a page from the A series, using a triple lense system akin to the A series of phones, not the 3 focal lengths shared by the Note10 Lite and the rest of the S10 series. What made it more confusing that it was the tallest S10 phone (taller than the S10 5G despite the same screen size, due to the taller aspect ratio), and that it launched when there was already a cheaper S10 phone, the S10e.
It still had the Snapdragon 855, which is a flagship processor that's still decent to use today in 2023 (which says alot about the SD processors from 2019), but the rest of the phone was nothing like the S10 series of phones.
Maybe if it remained with the A91 name, it would've been less confusing

Android 13 update!
I've been anticipating the One UI 5 update for a bit over two weeks (it was announced at the beginning of December) and to my surprise I came home to a wonderful notification this afternoon.
Here's a rough 6 hours impressions and rant:
1. Finally the themed icons make sense, trust me, it looks miles better than what they used to.
2. Animations are much smoother
3. There's been a couple of customization updates and new settings, but nothing life changing.
4. Battery seems okay, camera too. (I wiped cache immediately after update)
5. Notifications bar seems smaller, I didn't love that.
For the s10 series owners or anyone else who won't be going past Android 13, it's nothing to loose sleep over.
If necessary, I shall make an update after a week or so of use.
Cheers!

Android 13 for S10 lite is out in Europe.
Idk what happened at Samsung from 2020, this phone should've been the A91, with the Note10 Lite being the A81.
Idk what changed but the 2019 line ups are still the cleanest and most straight forward they ever were, things were never the same again.
