Is right to buy s10e 6/128 at least 2022?
I was really about to get this phone since it was not that expensive and was competent, but then I found out about the a52 5g and went down a rabbit hole

Tested it on my own by swimming many times underwater and infact it's still waterproof.
AnonD-1056488, 29 Aug 2022Music lovers.. although I prefer wired headphones but must admit new buds2 pro give really, re... moreI prefer routing the cable from my phone to my ears and having INFINITE earphone battery life, since, duh, no battery to worry about. Nor radiation exposure to the brain. Nor disposable planned-obsolescence battery expiration when the charge cycles are worn out. For triple figures cost, no less (if you want sound quality). My low-to-mid double figures earphones trounce that b.s. All day. Literally. You can keep a phone on charge in the bag if you are careful to protect the charging port and never run out of battery day-to-day. So, can do 10+ hour shifts with music uninterrupted and get stuck at your girlfriends without remembering to charge? Still have music on the way home. With w4nktooth you don't get that so easily.
Quality, reliability, is king.
IMHO, anyone who has changed their culture from respect for durability and functionality to over-respecting convenience is somewhat brainwashed into it, frankly.
Samsung should keep making this phone. 256GB, Snapdragon, remove the forced-fingerprint biometric collection (since everyone has to press the power button, VERY shady design and don't tell me you KNOW the fingerprint isn't being harvested - physical security is king - no data collection possible = no data collection, anything else is just irrational gambling with one's freedom and privacy).

Also, "bricked" means "reduced a device to nothing more than a lump of heavy material, i.e. a brick" meaning when it will no longer turn on or boot, and CANNOT BE FIXED VIA SOFTWARE. NOT when just ONE functionality (bluetooth) is borked.
Bricked needs to be a separate term because the situation is very specific and dire when that happens. See?
Literacy going backwards is not a symptom of phones making people smarter, is it? Think about it.
Anyway, in English tech slang, 'BORKED' is the word you are looking for. Which IIRC, means 'Generally broken, probably recoverable with perhaps much or a little effort (subjective)'. Good luck.

Bought an S10e (SD) a year ago, it still perform very good. I do not feel any slow down. The camera is still decent for late 2022. It get the job done. The downside is the battery. I can only get 4hrs+- screen on time per from 85% to 15%. I am using it just for text and watch videos. I don't play any games in it.

I've been using mine for almost 4 years, and it has always taken at least 1.5 hours to charge from 20% to 100%. And the few times I've let the battery go to almost to almost 0%, it would take between 1.5 to 2 hours to fully charge. So you are annoyed by typical charging times?
Mild, 09 Oct 2022Charging time display on off always all weather What?! Let me try to guess what you are saying. The display that shows the charging time and battery percentage goes on and off all the time in all weather? Is that what you're trying to say? So, you charge your phone outside?

It got bad after less than a year. Water Proof stopped working automatically so the camera got water inside and stopped working. Still the Ultra wide and Front Camera works, but not the main Camera.
