Still no Android 12 update for SM-G970U1 for US, Snapdragon version.

I just bought S10e F/Global version last month, and still satisfied. I live in Indonesia but got the Germany model (bought online), I don't get One UI 4.0/Android 12 update from the Settings (in fact when the phone arrived it stuck at Android 9), but easily upgrade it by flashing One UI 4.0 firmware using ODIN (because it's a new phone, I don't mind data getting wiped, there are no important data yet anyway). But after using it for a while I finally unlock the bootloader and install LineageOS 18.1 and stay with it until now, overall still very very satisfying, and I like the size tho. I've planned to try LineageOS 19.0, but after reading some reviews that there might be some features that hasn't implemented yet by Lineage, and might be some bugs too, I decided to stay in 18.1 until LineageOS 19.1 released, or at least 19.0 officially released for S10e in LineageOS website.
Btw, for those who managed to install LineageOS 18.1, I'd recommend using Holey Light notification (the notification light that appear around the front camera) and installing GCam (or other camera app that support the rear OIS). Cheers

Well, I'll wait for Android 12 to come, it should be soon. All other versions in US are getting it so I suspect it will be soon. My phone was bought unlocked directly from Samsung.

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2022after update android 12 One UI 4.0 have any issue and the battery life?Actually i think i have better performance since the upgrade. Before the battery status said 16hrs per day and now says 20hrs.

I'm in Australia an android 12 had yet to be pushed to my s10e last month even though people in other regions on here said they got it in updates in January. It's a bit of a hassle to flash lineageOS, so I would wait for the next release instead of doing it now that way you will have android12, whereas I'll just stay on 18.1 instead of reflashing, it should be good for a few years yet.

I've been running LineageOS 18.1 on the s10e for about a month now and it's running great. You might want to hold off for 19 if android 12 is important to you, otherwise it's a great option for those of us who love that phone and want to continue using it for a few years yet.

Barely lasts a day extreme battery savings on won't cut it especially exynos chip other than that its good device if can get it cheap

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2022after update android 12 One UI 4.0 have any issue and the battery life?U just found out. Its mostly security issues and wifi and blue tooth. Don't buy either get a dhitty iPhone or better yet a 2g boost Mobile. Thank me later.

And it says my phone is binded by samsung and it now reads as rooted. The apps have way to invasive permissions you cant uninstall. Bixby works against you bc of hackers ease of access. Every one please be careful of your wifi connection and blue tooth. It seems to connect through wifi Bluetooth and mobile data.

You only need it if you want to manually update some Samsung exclusive... moreNothing of what you suggested is not require.. update to 12 is possible without samsung account.. but I've looking forward flashing some rom, don't like one ui at all and particularly sammy "exclusive" apps

I am still on Android 1... moreNope, everything is ok.. accept, short info notification from apps staying little bit longer on display even you leave the app, sometimes despair after minute. Hope they fix bug with february patch
