Battery health is at 83% and it lasts all day for me. I'm planning to get the battery repaced

The s10e has better features but the a04 has a much bigger battery and is newer. If you want to upgrade from a04 you should get smth straight up better like an s20

You have pc for that with much better complex, non-p2w games (not to say all of them are, but I have yet to find a non-p2w mobile game that's not from indie developer). All I want is Android ecosystem and app support (for example Signal), calls & text, note taking, good enough camera and browsing the web occassionally. How about you study in school / go to work instead of mobile gaming? Unless, you're genshin or other anime game player lol.

It's so small and light compared to today's monster Android phones. But the camera is scratched and there's cracks on the back cover. I need to replace it but not sure what to get. Maybe an iPhone as they will fit in my pocket.

battery life is okay for me as i i'm mostly on my pc, and when going out i only use it for fb messenger. it lasts a whole day for me with 4 to 6 hours of screen on time. on the heaviest day i need to charge it by night.
For gaming, idk. I don't play games on my phone but I think you'll need to charge it multiple times a day if you're a mobile gamer.
For camera, it's pretty good for 2024's standard, especially considering the price you can get this phone nowadays. Good dynamic range, good night mode (no astrophotography mode, unfortunately), 4k60 on front and main camera (no 60fps on wide angle, even 1080 60). No flash on wide angle camera tho which is weird to me.
Screen quality is what you expect from samsung, vibrant, true blacks, however outside visibility could be better especially on direct sunlight.
Performance has been fine for me,
using this mostly for social media apps, emails, camera, authenticator apps, chatgpt. no games.
Speakers is surprisingly great considering its small size, bass is present and its dual speakers makes the phone vibrate when playing music. great experience if you forgot your earbuds. It also has a headphone jack, but i dont use it as i have a wireless earbuds: Sony Linkbuds S. Bluetooth performance is great, no complains there.
Mobile data has been great, excellent signal reception wherever I go. No complaints in the Wi-Fi either.
Software is quite smooth, One UI 4.1 at Android 12 is the last update of it. It still feels modern and the animations are better than I expected, considering people usually dog on Samsung's animations.
60 Hz is fine for me, even though I mainly use 280 Hz Asus monitor on my PC for gaming and work. I don't feel the need to upgrade for a phone with 120 Hz screen.
Will I recommend this phone today? Yes. But only if you can get it below $200 refurbished like I did. 2nd hand might be sketchy tho.

I have been using this phone Samsung S10e for about only 4 days and it has 3 advantages, 1) the memory is 125GB, 2)it's a 4G lite phone so the internet is fast, 3)it charges fast , but these are the disadvantages 1)JUST AS THE PHONE CHARGES FAST, THE BATTERY ALSO RUNS DOWN FAST especially when your browse the internet 2)THE PHONE GETS HOT when you use it especially when browsing but it's not too hot to hold . 3)it has only 1 Sim slot , I just found out there is a 2 Sim version, I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS PHONE STILL HAS ONE SIM VERSIONS IN EXISTENCE. Please, please can anyone tell me is I can change the battery to a higher battery of more than the 3800 mAh that came with the phone ??? That battery is toooo weak . Is it possible to change it ?..?
