simpleuser, 24 Aug 2022Mine still fine (bought ex US unit with SD chips ) and still on 3.0 UIYeah than you are lucky, but if you worried about that, just sell it ASAP before the issue exist or the prices will drop much, in Indonesia the lowest price for the defect phone dropped to 130 USD, everyone will never ever know their unit is safe or not, just the luck

Got my s20+ screen replaced for free due to green vertical line issues, it's 2 years old and from India.

My s20plus also developed green vertical line from top to bottom 3 days back. There was no water damage or no physical damage. i tried booting rebooting everything nothing happened. Finally searched samsung forums and you tube and realised that lots of s20+ customers are facing this issue and in Indonesia samsung is giving free screen replacement for affected customers. There were some posts that some people also got screen replaced in India free of cost. There was some official notification also in some samsung forums regarding free replacement till 31st dec 2022. My device was 2 years old and was out of warranty. I took my device to samsung service centre and they said we need to ask company for free screen replacement. They wrote a mail to company and finally agreed to replace screen free of cost. i had told them i will not pay a penny. I am told it will take 7-10 days. So all friend who are facing this issue kindly contact samsung authorised service centre and insist on free screen replacement. Only condition is your device should not have physical or water damage,

Anonymous, 26 Jul 2022Same issue with mine ( green screen) Got repaired in samsung service center ( free of charge)... moreFree Replacement Policy difference at each country some are silent repairs with strict TC like no dent no scratch or if there is any small must pay some amount which still under normal price
So everyone should ask their SC or email to CEO (which not direct to CEO but still Customer Service but the executive one not regular CS) about the Policy

It's happened to me also. Woke up from sleep suddenly I saw a green vertical line which very upset me. I have been a fan of Samsung since my 1st purchased but now the product quality is disappointing.

same here, green line appear on my phone, just now the entire screen just went flickering white. Very disappointed. I had a Samsung edge 7 for 6 years and never had any problem!

Anonymous, 26 May 20222 years later battery barely last 4 and a half hoursOfficially, the battery should be changed after Max 18 months. Try to do this and you will have peace of mind.

I'm from Sri Lanka. My S20+ also get green vertical lines. Together we can ask from agent about this problem.

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2022green vertical line, out of nowhere. very bad for a supposed flagship phone It is very Bad, but Samsung has problem with their panel since S6 series and still every flagship has their owned unique problem, and FYI Samsung NEVER USE THEIR OLED panel ON TV until now, since Samsung has known Oled panel is not stable like LCD, Samsung TV flagship use QLED which is based on LCD not Oled
