Not recommended. This phone will give you a green line on the LCD that is caused by software updates, and you can't do anything but ask to get it fixed through hardware repairs that will cost you too much.

2023/2024 not worth buying this phone. Heating issue on samsung is still not optimized battery is not optimized. 4500MAH but feels like it has the battery of iPhone xr. iPhone is much better for playing games. I think this phone is only for zoom photographies. Really not worth it. and the DYNAMIC AMOLED it still has its VERTICAL LINES ISSUES just a question to samsung. When are you going to optimized the phones processor? And optimized the battery? phone overheats too much, when playing game for like 2 gameplays it overheats too much and you'll experience such bad framedrops.

Got free screen replacement at Samsung Service even when... morethose mofos wanted to charge me about 280 usd for replacing the screen with a green line on the left edge, plus, 100 usd for replacing the battery, plus an unspecified amount for replacing the back glass wich is loose from the frame and is not broken, plus replacing all the cameras because they look dirty despite working perfectly, it was about 400 usd for everything, that was december 2023, i went to a samsung experience store in mexico, indeed it was a real experience

Just a heads-up for everyone still rocking this in 2024:
I replaced the battery in it (did it myself, wasn't really a hassle), the phone worked normally for a couple hours then screen went black. Touch inputs and phone itself still worked, just there was no image.
Checked all the cables, did everything 10 times over, nothing helped.
Then after 3.5 days the screen came back to life. Washed out and dull, but after restart it got back to normal.
So if that happens to you just be patient, before throwing the phone/wasting money replacing the screen

Back cover is flipping off due intense heat from exynos chipset and green line from top to bottom. I lost trust in these premium phones.

I bought a s20 plus for 10 euros from the flea market... it's broken but there are no bands, etc.. now that I'm reading the comments.. the phone is on one ui 2.1 .. should I update it?
