Had S6, S8, S9, S10...now S20. I have never been disappointed with the S serie, especially cameras. Only flaw as in most phones is too short battery life but fast charging makes up for it. Love it.

Blakchef, 18 Nov 2020Hows the battery life of this model s20? Any comment? I have the S20 Exynos 990 and have minimal SoT and battery is almost empty after 15-18 hours. Huge disappointment. My (3-year old) S8 Exynos 8895 was a brilliant phone. I bought the S20 to future-proof myself for the next 3-4 years but it looks like I have been ripped off as I can't see it lasting that long.

Blakchef, 18 Nov 2020Hows the battery life of this model s20? Any comment? I use the Snapdragon version (hence with 5G). I have around 7.5h of SoT, depending what I do. It is quite good I would say. My friends have Exynos and they are also quite happy, I think they improved it with updates.

I am in need of advice.
I am at the verge of a purchase and am confused between the following phones, no compromises on: high ppi, responsive processor and camera performance.
That brings me down to S20 vs OnePlus 8 Pro vs Experia 1 II vs Moto Edge
I have owned and loved S7 edge thus far, but from reviews here, I do not wish to pay a hefty price for a phone that will let me down.
Moto Edge has low PPI and I believe camera performance is lacklustre
That leaves 8 Pro vs 1 II ? or does S20 beat them hands down despite its limitations?

I have an s10 Exynos and it is excellent. I previously had an s8 Exynos and also no problems. Too many people writing about what they think they know rather than what they do know.

Their names mean nothing and you may be disabling an app which is essential to the smooth operation of the phone. How can you find out what each app actually does.

I've had an S20 for about 3 weeks now and am bitte... moreOh, one other thing, from the same place in my office where I connected to and held a good cell phone connection with my S8, this new piece of rubbish S20 does NOT have a good connection to the same cell network I have been using for 25 years! I have to move around to find a place where my caller and I can have a proper conversation.
Absolute rubbish this S20!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had an S20 for about 3 weeks now and am bitterly disappointed!! I was a hardcore samsung galaxy guy (S, S3, S6, S8 and now unfortunately S20). I have tried everything to extend battery life beyond about 12-25 hours but all unsuccessful. Saturday the phone froze on me in mid-call and I had to reboot. Yesterday I used the location/GPS for an hour to get somewhere (and then turned it off once I got there) and last night Ph was below 30% battery. It seems I have to recharge twice a day ON A BRAND NEW PHONE!!!!!! FFS! I don't play music, watch video's, use bluetooth and weekdays make/receive around 5-15 calls a day and have 30-50% battery life left come evening. I've done everything I know of and what others have advised me to do to save power/battery but to no avail. My 3-year old S8 with it'e aging battery performs better than this VERY EXPENSIVE and BRAND NEW S20! Very disappointing phone for the HUGE price you pay for it. Stay away from samsung, there have got to be better phones out there.

i wanted to purchase the fe 5g, finally sp in our area. but theres problem with that phone too... hardware problem.
im really confuse tho. it seems like any phone has it own problems.
wanted s20, only exynos in our area.
then wanted fe 5g, a day before i bought it i saw about his problems.
thought about moving to iphone, expensive, itunes, locked, etc
s10 is also exynos in out area..
sooo. s20 exynos? whats up with him?
