Hi, i just bought this device today second hand and it's still on android 11 with security patch of October 2021. And I'm aware of the green line issue of samsung s20 series. Do you recommend to update it or not? I have the KT Version (SD 5G Version)

Seriously the best phone I've had to date. I've read some comments and disagree with some. The sound from the stereo speakers can be at times surprising. Great sound quality. Fingerprint reader works well. Some say it's too slow. I feel secure with it. Speed is great. Charging time is not an issue as I charge it while sleeping . Wifi calling is a blast seeing as I don't have much cell signal where I live. Great camera features like slow mow and night shot. Almost total darkness and you can see the sky almost like day. So happy with this phone.

Event current year flagship phones of samsung have lower resolution comparing to S20's 2k display and it's hardware is fully capable to run all the modern era high graphics & demanding games. Camera is also neck to neck with all flagships phones

It has been almost 2 years since I got this phone. It has proven to work flawlessly with great build quality and extremely lightweight, and it is one of the best Android phones of all time. The last two years were a disaster for Android phones, Samsung continuously downgrade hardware for the S21 and S22 series, and both SD888 and SD 8gen1 have series overheating issues, leaving the old S20 with SD865 most reasonable choice. It is so miserable that S20 is still one of the best Android phones of its 6-inch size 2 years later.

The S20 is the closest phone I've seen to perfect, even 2 years later. More RAM than the S21, microSD slot, 120hz refresh, great battery life, and sub-6 5G which doesn't burn your battery life or give you cancer. Only single issue I had with it was with the camera having a difficult time focusing. Even when making sure the lens was clean and deleting the app data, the auto-focus was just poor for a point-and-shoot. Multiple firmware updates made no difference. Don't get me started on the Hybrid Zoom macrolens... just as bad but with artifacts. Samsung sort of acknowledged the problem by adding a laser to help with auto-focus on the Note20 Ultra and S21 Ultra, but that's of little help if you own the S20.

Has worked flawlessly, very fast, no lag, etc. I just think it's too small for me and also I want the better iPhone 13 for video. But for most people it's a great phone.

I've had this phone for about a year. Big disappointment. This phone has a mind of its own. Not always responsive. Maybe due to the switch from sprint to t-mobile apps will open by themselves, phone won't turn off, on occasion it has started recording conversations within the room. Too many glitches to list. S-pen is a godsend!. Gorilla glass is awesome! Had to remove case for phone due to battery overheating when in pocket or purse. Screen turns itself on.

I have had this phone for 6 months and am somewhat disappointed with it. Hardware seems nice, though there is a terrible distortion in speaker. It is a defect as I never have the volume high and don't even use it for music. I do not like this particular Android interface. For comparison I most recently had an LG V35 ThinQ. There are many features on the this device just seem ponderous to use in comparison. Several frequently accessed options are deeply buried in the Settings. Deleting text messages requires too many taps. If I get a text message from a new number that I do not want it takes 6 taps to delete it. Deleting a photo constantly requires authorizing access to do so. The recent implementation of Visual Voice mail on Google Fi feels like they just rushed it out. It isn't part of the phone app. you can't have it automatically download the messages. there is no speech to text ability. It feels like a beta version. The overall interface is not streamlined and for the most part cannot be customized to remove redundant steps. In some apps there are buttons but you have to remember to swipe them, not tap them. Tapping the button does nothing.
Other than the speaker issues I don't have hardware issues. Photos are nice and battery life is great. I mention those because I notice others complaining about them. No issues here with those features. There are some nice options on the camera, though getting them to work is sometimes awkward.

Although has relative weak battery and overhearing Exynos, I'm still satisfied with mine S20 5G, 12GB ram version. It is very fluid, fast phone with gorgeus 120Hz display, fine camera and sits perfectly in pocket or in just one hand. The only real competition for this phone is not Huawei but Xiaomi Mi 11. But mi11 is bulky and heavy so if you want great performer in compact case and water proof this is the perfect solution.

All you have to do is call for 5 minutes with a SIM card from the same market as the device. For example, do you want to use a European telephone with an Asian SIM card? First call someone for at least 5 minutes with a European SIM card. The regional lock will be lifted, so you can use your Samsung device with SIM cards from every region. Do you have a dual SIM? Then Use the second SIM card for 5 minutes as well.
