Although an excellent device in terms of performance, that 8K video in combination with a non-replaceable battery may lead to problems described here:
Still waiting for the review of this phone, only preview so far. Hoping it comes out before the new one comes in.
Just thought i'd post an opinion which is based purely on my usage so far. I have Exynos S20 5G (UK). Had it since relase and just installed latest update which has apparently been pulled by Samsung because of green tint etc... or so I have read.
Personally haven't had a single issue, no throttling, no heating up and battery actually lasts longer than my S10 did, however that is dependant on network settings as 5G and 4G connect at the same time. WiFi or 4G givee me about 2 days with moderate use, 5G drops it to 1 day although this observation is limited due to current lockdown scenario.
Stay safe people.
Avoid EXYNOS version of Samsung phones!!!! It throttles, overheats, battery drains and lags HARD!!!!
Anonymous, 28 Mar 2020Been using this phone for 2 weeks. I like it, but it heats up like no phone I've used before (... moreI got an SD version from china. HK version. its pretty good. no heat issue. on much use its gettin warm but not huge isssue i could say.
This article probably explains why I think the battery life of my 856 powered S20 is very good vs the GSM review which had the Exynos chip.
Been using this phone for 2 weeks. I like it, but it heats up like no phone I've used before (S10/Note10 recently) at the simplest of tasks. I don't know if it's a fault or how it's designed. This is the Exynos version, and I have 5G turned off.

I passe... moreGets worse with underpowered Exynos chipset and mediocre camera performance and battery life thanks to the rubbish chipset. But iPhone (11 Pro/Pro Max, not regular 11) in Europe is too overpriced.

I passed from S5 to S8 and now to Iphone. At least I will get several years updated.
Bye bye Samsung
Anonymous, 06 Mar 2020Where can I find a decent review, GSM takes for ever!Samsung only sent review units for the Ultra, so reviews for the S20 and S20+ will come a bit later because they have to get them retail like the rest of us.
Coming from gs8 to gs20, I noticed that the biggest upgrade is a battery life. At the end of the day, s20 still has about 60% juice left, whereas my s8, from day one, needed an extra charge to survive a day.
Anonymous, 17 Feb 2020S20 - S11e
S20+ - S11
S20 Ultra - S11+Not really, it is much more :
s20 = s11
s20+ = s11+
S20 ultra = new format
and no s11e
