With lots of posts from you and others as well as the fact that some posts get delayed in being displayed due to review by gsmarena.com, there will be a big chance my posts will not be grouped together and displayed simultaneously one after another. Replying to my own posts ensures continuity and easier following in case the sequence is disarranged due to gsmarena.com's review. Dob
you get it now, or do I need to explain it in more 'elementary' terms?

Jacek, 31 Mar 2023Mine is red.Thanks. There seems to be a mismatch between my actual phone color (blue) and that indicated in the IMEI check (white). But all the other details match up.

Am I missing something? :) I already replied which version of the software I'm using (5.1) and I posted my phone's details (manufacture date and country of origin).

The only difference is yours was perfect for more than 7 months before the software update ruined the battery life of your S20 FE 5G. Mine was just 2 weeks old. I should have read your comment before updating. Now our only hope is for Samsung to post a new update (which is unlikely). The Samsung service center cannot rollback my S20 FE 5G software. And replacing the battery when the fault is the software is not recommended.

Based on your info, yours is regular S20 FE 5G China/HK model version, a batch from 2022. If you insist on keep researching, that's the one to track and compare with other same variant and/or batch users experience. As for your thoughts and conclusions, I think that hardware check info may be or be not entirely accurate. OneUI (software) cause yet can't be ruled out as well.

The unmatched battery drain here, factory reset done, new phone etc. looks like there may be a hardware issue which should be resolved accordingly: simply replaced, or get checked in service center at least. Software may be discussed there as well. No need to spend weeks dealing with it anyway (and possibly walk in circles). No offense to anyone.
He's still same one person (R5v).

But when one is away from home, mobile data will always give a different IP everytime due to dynamic IP assignment by the wireless network provider.
