only 2 major updates on a flagship mobile and more than 1000 euros, is samsung crazy?
I passed from S5 to S8 and now to Iphone. At least I will get several years updated.

Very sad, Only 4x optical zoom for such expensive phone. I hoped that will be 10x optical zoom but that didn't happen.

I went to the store just to check S20's camera , And I was disappointed when I zoomed in , Samsung were once good what happened to them!

Anonymous, 03 Mar 2020P30pro actually has ;) It is the last premium huawei phone with full google support which wil... morecompared to s10+, the p30 pro is absolutely terrible at auto-focus, low-light shooting / ois, the zooming fluency is non-existent, and the EMUI 10 camera UI is now practically unusable. The app switching gestures also suck, and edge mistouches are a serious problem. That said, I'm waiting for the p40 pro and praying they fixed all this, becuase the s20 ultra is a fail of the decade.

BigBlaqBoy, 06 Mar 2020I knew it... I knew the 100x zoom was a hoax. 100x? Not even 50x? it's 4x optical, you can't fake even 1x optical by a bigger sensor and pixel binning, and all the test videos prove it.
that said, 4x may be more practical than 5x, but selling it as 100x makes you think someone out there is mentally challenged.

Since note 10, all samsung flagships are crap. Because lack of 3.5 mm jack. Even LG keeps it on flagships.

I have the new ultra phone. What a ULTRA piece of crap! Bad GPS! , time is off by 1 hour, and the voice on the phone calls is not so good. I feel like I purchased a downgrade.

The ROG 2 also beats OnePlus in camera department & video.
And its on par with s10 in 90% scenarios.
IMX 586 vs S5K2L4
Both are pretty good and on par.
1.4 micron vs 1.6 micron effective pixel size. Both have Dual pixel AF.
Samsung adds DRAM on it for 960fps.
Both shoot 4K60 with great stabilization. Although S10 does have OIS, Asus footage pretty comparable and stable and has natural color instead of the saturated processing of Samsung that some dislike.

Why can't Samsung make enough phones with Snapdragon SoC. It's discrimatory to ship some S20 with Snapdragon SoC to some regions and ship those with less reliable Exynos/Mali GPU to other regions all for the same price.
