I hate it when PC features get added to phones, because people just bash brands just for doing so.
You need to know that phones are considered mini-PCs

Kirin 980 competes with SD845.
Kirin 990 competes with SD855.

87h of endurance, Yikes. 120hz is just overkill and I'm sure people will barely use it. Switch to 90hz instead and that plenty enough. This 120hz shit is totally just gimmick at this point

mate 30 pro the best phone right now, you have it all:great display, battery, camera, wireless charging, ip rating, faceid, ir, nfc, and some extras. and i don't want to hear about the god damn google or 90/120/144/240 or whatever refresh, after all it is a god damn phone!!

5x optical useless in low light.
Video recording is weak. No 4K60.
Lack of faster storage with non standard SD card expansion (basically expensive cards for the same amount of storage when compared with standard microSd).
Uncertain software support.
No 5g.
Lower resolution screen.
And it doesn't cost 300 dollars. In my country it's costing 600 dollars.

End of march 2020 (1st reviews start of april) can't imagine what p40pro premium 5 camera rear setup will do to s20ultra :) yes no google services, but there will be HMS alternative, which will get stronger every month and new popular apps will pop up as Huawei will pay them billions to do so and who does not like money. Future is bright :)

4K60 with HDR10+ on all cameras.
Never been done on a smartphone.
IPhone did it but it's not true hdr10 footage (more like 8bit with software tricks).
Also the screen is not true 10bit display, it's 8bit with CFR.

This the best comparison between S20 ultra vs IPhone 11 Pro Max honestly Exyons 990 it’s a beast single core 944, multicore almost 2800 not that good, but very good optimization from Samsung, antutu 516K and iPhone 520K (due to both phones throttle with very heavy use, but still manage to keep high score good job Samsung and Apple).
Ps. The comparison in Italian sorry no English comparison shows as good as this comparison.
