One of the best smartphones ever built in this generation. Good job, Samsung!!! S10 was messed up with horizontally alignment of rear cameras. Galaxy Note 20 will be a beast, too.

It will be the perfect best Android phone of the world in 2020 if only it has a 3.5mm headphone jack! LOL!

There is no focal range given for regular and plus, but they have wider hole and high pixel density. And wider aperture is important.

Still, comparing this to regular P30.

P30 has 80 mm 8 Mp telephoto. This one has 102 mm 48 Mp. 48/8 + 102/80 = 7.65. So pixel to pixel crop would be equivalent of 612 mm comparing to P30. That's a lot. Regular and plus probably have "only" 50. If so, then would be only 65% of that - equivalent of 400 mm on P300. Still enough to make detailed pictures of Luna. Venus is pretty big those days. Would be interesting to see from S20 series.

Still, main cameras aren't great. Only 12 Mp f/1.8. 4x downscaled 48 Mp would be more crisp. Ultrawide angles aren't high resolution either. And that is important for macro. I can shoot subpixels on a screen with my P30.

So, probably Samsung outplayed Huawei P40 in telephoto, but likely wide and ultrawide cameras of P40 series would be better.

5G frequency bands do not seem to be correct. We know T-Mobile USA will carry this phone but band 71 is not listed. Can you guys check your sources and please also let us know what bands are supported for what model? (unless there is no difference in support of course)

Thank you very much!

blanc, 10 Feb 2020This is just stupid... Everyone nagging about price, but has anyone looked closely at the hard... more1. 2K and 4K are definitely different. Just ask Sony.

2. 120Hz is ONLY if you set the panel at 1080p

3. No headphone jack. A.K.A. double-standard since the Note 9 commercials.

4. US barely has 5G so they're charging extra for something we can't use.

5. Way too big

6. Curved screen has never been useful.

7. Battery life might STILL not be as good as you think thanks to that size and powerful panel.

Yes, on paper, it's got major bells and whistles but in the end, it still isn't worth the price.

You can, of course, buy their normal flagship s20 or even a midrange phone and be happy with the performance, but that isn't the point.

People still do not understand that 5G is a gimmick in the United States. It's not truly available. What you get with most of the carriers and most of the antennae locations is 4G LTE with higher output. Real 5G is installed in stadiums. True 5G is designed for ultra high condensed cities. 5G uses thousands of powered antennas in a concentrated area. The frequency wavelengths are short and not capable of penetrating concrete, steel and even weather like rain and snow. T-Mobile's 5G is actually its Band 71 (600mhz) frequency long band that can penetrate buildings and go far distances. They bought the bandwidth years ago, replacing analog television bands. Most people will never experience true 5G which is over 300 mbps but supposed to be a minimum of 1GB. So check the specs of the phone you want. Just know the 5G premium price is NOT worth it at all. So as you can see with Samsung's pricing, they force you to spend $400 more for the 5G to get the most exceptional camera photos and videos ever seen with the Ultra version. You don't get that camera with any of their other 4G LTE S20 models. Scam!

It has the best Camera but its resolutions & Screen siz is almost the same compared to the last Note 10 plus 5G. if you're upgrading for a big difference in Specifications. Any way let wait for the coming Samsung Note flagship.
