At least in the ultra vers... morethe Exynos 990 is samsung version for the 865, its because Qualcom is used mostly for US like how other phones have a US and a global version, the 990 is actually better in terms of performance since samsung can tune it for that

Comparing camera samples with mate 30 pro, it is clear that the s12 ultra produces sharper images in low light with better details and less noise along with accurate colors.
Zoom is seamless during videos/photos.
Stabilization is also better

It doesn't throttle like the A13 chip.
