I actually also compared the Kirin 990 to the Exynos 990 hence why I said Exynos has 11 cores of the Mali G77 while Kirin 990 which came out before it has 16 cores of the Mali G76 and the one after it will probably have 16 cores Mali G77. Samsung should have used 16 cores instead of 11.

Does the 5g bother anyone since most of the countries still rely on the 4g networks and for me I'd like to purchase the s20ultra but since it comes in 5g it will be an issue. I think samsung didn't work this out properly

You can't compare 990 with exynos 9820 as it was released a year ago. You have to compare kirin 990 with exynos 990(9830) which isn't out yet. If you wanna compare exynos 9820, then you have to compare it with kirin 980.
Anyway Kirin 990 is using old(2018) GPU and CPU design. No cortex A77 !

Lovely phone. But I think it’s not long enough. Why only 20:9 ratio?
I want a phone that’s 500 mm long ( half a meter ) and only 76mm wide because I want to pay $5000 for a phone.

Kirin uses 16 GPU cores, which is the maximum amount you can have for these particular GPUs (G76 & G77), while Exynos only used 12 and now even 11. Exynos has always been behind the Snapdragon, all 18 cores of the Mali T880 that were in the Middle Eastern, European, and most of the Asian versions of the S7 couldn't even come close to the Adreno 530 in the Snapdragon version North Americans got.
Exynos was 2 or 3 years ago ahead of Kirin but not anymore.

6k30 is a much better solution than 8k15. Hopefully these current specs are true and it does end up going the way of Xiaomi. (I'm referring to the Mi Mix Alpha's 6k30 abilities)

Anonymous, 31 Jan 2020Maybe with upcoming Mali GPU things will change since Samsung changed to cortex A76/77?!.And Qualcomm will just sit by and watch? Does Snapdragon have to slow down a bit for Sansung's Exynos to catch up? No. Samsung should have used 16 cores but they didn't and in my opinion they didn't because they know not everyone knows what's inside their device.
