I am using s21+ exynos since last 2 month.
Average temperature it keeps around 35c

if I start using camera it goes around 45/47 in 5 minutes.
Only downside I see is OS is still not optimized like oxygen OS, still feeling lagging in shutter speed and daily task (not more noticeable but feels glitches)
If I keep 120Hz (adaptive) it warm more, so keeping on 60hz

Overall good phone.

Ahm123, 25 Apr 2021Guys i want to buy samsung s21 plus i just want to ask about battery life because i play alot ... moreOn average I've got 7 hours screen on time with moderate use( adaptive screen refresh rate(120hz), bluetooth all the time on, mobile data, 70-100 screen brightness). On heavy gaming sessions I think you should easily get 5 hours or even better results It depends on the games, screen brightness, background processes and so on.

ML, 24 Apr 2021Is the overheating issue solved and what are the causes that cause the phone to overheating? I... moreI have s21+, my friends have s21 ultra, s21(all exynos) and we don't experienced any heat issues from the day we purchased. Maybe you are talking about s20 lineup which had exynos 990.

I highly recommend it.

I'm always multitasking facebook, messenger, browser, bla bla and never ever experienced slow downs or overheating. Exynos 990 was problematic but 2100 is amazing. Probably on the same level of smoothnes s7 had

I've been using this phone for about a month. it's very fast, the battery lasts one day for heavy use, 2 days for normal use. I don't use it for games, but so far it has never warmed up. one ui is very well done, I had no problem. I love the flat screen. I wouldn't even change it with the s21 ultra. it's the best choice for those who want to change the phone

Samsung should take a (another !) leaf from Apple and incorporate all the great features of the S21 Ultra in a smaller phone. Namely the S21 Plus. Or even the S21.

Samsung is already ditching Exynos 990 on FE, it's only a matter of time for 2100.
Don't try to sell it, I'm not buying it: I don't have to try all the cr.. out there to know it's cr..

In cpu departament exynos is better or the as same... moreExynos 2100 only edges out the 888 in multi-core performance by like 3.5% percent. and when you play a geekbench score 5 times back to back, the 2100 gets as hot as 60 degrees whilst losing by 19% in its Antutu score to the 888 which was 40 degrees C.

i know benchmarks do not mean everything and dont translate into real world use but never have i seen a chipset get that hot and lose that much performance compared to the 888

Swordman, 14 Apr 2021Well I can easily get around 8-9h sot on the February patch (after updating from January), but... moreCharge your phone without fast charge and test it again. I think you experiencing fast charge issues. What I mean is that if you charge your phone with fast charge you lose some mAh in the process. I tried charging without fast charge and I've got same results like you did(8-9 SOT).

In cpu departament exynos is better or the as same as snapdragon 888 only gpu is downside, battery is even better than snapdragon. I have exynos 2100 for like 3months now and I can't find any issues with it. Have you tried using it on your own? I guess not so can you do not spread misinformation

You might only stay away (from both) if you are in Exynos region.
