I also received Security patch: March.1,2023 , size=282 MB for One UI 5.1. Few minor stability stated on update. I did notice now instead of seeing the usual Samsung OS update - Now I see One UI logo during this patch update.

Because there is more in life then staring at a screen (no judging for the record). But staring at a screen 6 or 7 hours a day is a lot.

Amir, 11 Mar 2023how could you get 2 days ,i only get 24 hours with 6 to 7 hours of screen on timeWell like today i have 2.5 hours of sot and still 65%. I actually turned off 5g. 4g is enough. I noticed it was searching for 5g all the time and call quality was poor. Just changed it and all my troubles were away. I always close apps. Use wifi when possible. Location is off. So today i will use my phone another hour or so on wifi for mindless tiktok watching and be at 50 procent when i go to sleep. So tommorow at 22.00 my phone will be at 5% with 6 a 7 hours in total over 2 days (And i have the exynos version.) Bought the phone at launch. Still 94 procent battery health (seen through battery health app).
Ow and i never use a wired charger. Always slow wireless overnight every 2 nights. 15w wireless charger from spigen. Seems to help because gets less hot. Hope this helps you in your quest for more battery juice.

Was previously using the S21 ultra (SD 888)., And i enable the use of fingerprint/pin to secure the phone when shutdown attempt is made, when the screen is locked.
I switched to the S21 plus (exynos) 'cause I was into the curved display. And I noticed I can no longer see the option to enable this function.
Can anyone confirm is this has to do with the chip or was it removed in the one U.I 5.1 android 13 update.

I haven't notice any performance degradation or more battery drain. For now, I think I like this latest update, seems more seamless, camera a bit better performance and better image&video .

Build quality, support, ip rating, screen quality (maybe) better camera for sure. I have a a32s for work. Good "basic" phone, but open 3 apps and troubles incoming. If you buy a galaxy s series you know you have a phone that will last you a long time. If you buy a midrange phone, after 2 years of updates you will feel it slowing down. You want expensive, easy and blingbling and so on, buy an iphone. But the freedom that comes with android/samsung, for me, perfection. Taste differs so choose what makes you happy.

Sam799, 18 Feb 2023I’ve read on the internet that one UI 5.1 is draining battery and has heating issues.My s21plus works fine just like before the update. Dont believe everything you read on the net. Batterylife is after 2 years still 6 a 7 hours sot en average 2day battery.

Hello together,
I have installed one UI 5.1 last week on s21+ exynos model. At the beginning there is a definitely more battery drain than 5.0, but after few days it is slowly settled nearly previous levels, so go ahead and update with confidence. Also this version only will improve in future.
