This is the low-down. The solid green-line is a hardware problem defect from AMOLED screens. I did tons of research and the only way around it is to replace the entire screen. Took it to Samsung Service Ctr near me last Tues, and today they sent me txt msg that they are still working on it. In regards to being charge on it, I admonish in the strongest term that it was caused by the June 1 patch update that got applied recently. So now I am waiting for them to update me the cost of repair, still being determined by their head-office here in Phils - will update on that outcome
These are some of the research on this issue. Samsung phones will no longer be option for me on future buys .... they know about this defect and let it happen so that when the standard warranty no longer applies - they want ALL of us to pay up.

Most likely the line on the right side of your screen is for the hidden menu feature that has to be activated. Read up on this

Beaves, 17 Aug 2023My phone hasn't received updates since January....it's an SD version in Kenya...boug... moreMorio, since it's SD version most likely it's the USA unlocked carrier variant, it needs the original carrier simcard to get updates over OTA, you need to flash the ROM with a stock rom of unlocked version and remove the carrier unlocked rom and you'll start getting the OTA updates

I have the SD unlock version. But do note that I have not seen this phone connect to 5G connectivity, as the 3 major telco's here does not certify this phone as 5G-compatible, IT will only connect as 4G+ \ LTE .
