S20FE 5G or S21 5G(exynos)
I'm not a gamer and don't care about software updates
i only need phone performance, battery, front & back camera 🤔

Jnn, 10 Jul 2022What should I do with this problem of battery draining quickly and the phone getting hot? PleaseCheck your battery usage details under device care. Check for % of battery use of APP. Restrict it's background usage. mobile SYNC mode also can heat the handset & draining battery fast. fixed 120HZ motion smoothness is also another reason, try with adaptive battery mode which switch from 120hz to 60hz depends upon your usage.
Above points may help you to improve battery usage with less heat effect.
I experienced that in early usage while handset is new there is battery drain & heating effect is more since it in learning pattern mode. After that AI takes control & optimize your performance depends on daily usage pattern.

There was a very recent update for the S21 like just some days ago. And since then my battery is going down much faster. I'm I the only one??? Please help

Having said that I could never buy what I consider an "ugly" phone or one with outdated looks such as earlier iPhones which had large bezels until recently, no matter how good the phone. So in that respect we are on the same track.

I have S21+ and it is very premium build - shiny metal frame, glass back, narrow basels, great screen and etc.
Also the users are very demandfull about the specs, so it is not only the look there.

I'm using Galaxy series from S1 to S21( never switched to other brand), still not feeling carrying Premium product in hand. Samsung has to do something like Unique Samsung LOGO for Premium series. If I'm standing with midrange users they realizes me, for what you have spent more since our most of things on same level.
Any midrange phone & Samsung S series phone looks almost same. Most of the users are not bothered about speed & performance.
There is almost same size(6/128,8/128) of variant in both range. Almost Same type of display(Full HD). Sizes(6,6.1,6...) are also near about same.
Midrange also getting monthly & OS updates at least for 3 years.
My only concern is that If I'm using any Samsung Premium phone my nearby people should feel like what they feel for other brand 🍎 users.

Battery is great for the size.... You can opitimize consumption from disabling apps you dont use, disable all the samsung apps you dont need, disable the google play automatic updates, disable bluetooth if you dont use it, disable NFC if you dont use it... even disable 5G if you dont need it and if you think with 4G is enough. I get easily 7h SOT and with light usage I can get up to 3 full days without charging.

Hi, Ive been using the S21 5G for quiet a few months now and well... its perfect in every aspect except the battery life which I can agree is not adequate comparing to the phones overall performance. Otherwise this phone is a grain away from the perfect daily used phone.. it performs fast and does all its apps at its maximum capability not to mention the camera which is great aswell.
Personally, I am impressed to the fullest extent and would only change the battery life if possible.

Issamh, 19 May 2022Thanks alot for your kind reply......but i am worried for the battery because lot of complaint... moreI can assure you that the S21 battery is amazing considering the size. For my typical everyday usage (whatsapp, some calls and some browsing) it lasts me 3 full days, no joke.
S22 is a little bit worse in terms of battery... Also has worse ergonomy. I think S21 is the better phone.
