2021 is a shameless year, which is why 2018 is better than sufficient to some extent!
Not to mention 2020, a trash year after the so called pandemic, started to become garbage!
A lack of fun and interest is a waste of time!

Battery would drain 100 to 0 in 13 to 14 hours without he... moreReally?!?! My Snapdragon 888 S21 can be sitting around all weekend, without even coming anywhere close to exhausting the battery. One weekend I forgot to put my S21 on the wireless charger when I got home. So it sat there on the table, unused, from Friday night at 6PM to Monday morning at 9AM. I still had around 40% battery life left. I was surprised when I saw how much battery life was still left.
I use the Pulse app so any text messages I get go to my PCs and tablets. And can also be sent from those devices too. And my cordless phone base connects to my S21 over BT. So any cell phone calls I get, while at home, are accessed from my cordless handsets. So it's very rare that I ever touch my cellphone while I am home.

Worst decisions to buy this phone
Battery would drain 100 to 0 in 13 to 14 hours without heavy use..just sitting the phone would lose around 8 percent per hour..always stayed warm dunno wat it was processing..took it to Samsung service center where they said it's functioning fine
sold the phone in a month and incurred a heavy loss

We really miss small screen phones with powerful spec. Apt screen size is like pixel 4a (small, slim, light weight & well updated) please understand not all users are young adults, this jumbo screen phones is mess for elders and its a fact small screen, slim phones have always given good sales figures.

I'm not trying to be rude, but at least they allow people to scan their faces with a mask on, which tne iphone 13 could likely be able to work with!
And If they don't improve the face Id by then, we could be in trouble!
I mean it's crapvid's fault after all, but I guess you never know, so I couldn't careless!

I mean, sure, the iphone 13 will support this authentication hardware to be able to work with masks and foggy glasses, but I'm expecting face id to work with masks on the iphone 13, which is coming out in just a few weeks!

Much faster than any of my very high speed microSD cards have been. But for me, in normal use, I do not need to transfer any files directly to a PC. Any files like that are just backed up to multiple cloud storage providers, automatically.

For those wondering there's no telephoto lens on the S21 & S21+. There's actually one ultra-wide and two wide lens. The main wide is 12MP while the secondary wide is 64MP. There's NO optical zoom on this phone.

So for me a memory card is still a great advantage. And from what i've read, the S22 will just be as bad as S21 regarding important matters as memory card and screen. If so, No Buy...

Heck,... moreYou do realise that changing software resolution does not affect the physical display resolution, right? What's more, the pentile RGBG layout is less dense than RGB so it's actually closer to 720p [(540p + 1080P + 540p) / 3 = 720p]

Who would ever than to use low resolution 1080p on 60hz on a phone on that budget ? S-series were not made for long battery life, they were made for people who whant features. It is like buying a RTX 3080 or 3090 and use it for 1080p low resolution gaming. Or buying a ferrari and use it like a Dacia.

Some time you thant to play a game or just operate fast in menu , that is the 120hz for.
But some times you whant to watch a video at best quality. And you can choose 1440p.
S21 is the first s-series that has lesser features compare to the previos series S20 and was made in 2021.
And in 2021 just recent is the first Samsung lost nr 1 position in smartphone sales in years.
It is there a coincidence or has to do with facts that some people don t whant to buy feature less products just because they are the new thing.

In my s20 all app are disabled. Only samsung app I used.
i don't use social media apps .dont play game. No contact. No music. I only used for Only watch 4k movies
For me s20 battery is two two good for me. It's 1 and half day battery work.
