This year’s Samsung Galaxy S lineup is once again getting a Fan Edition, and the phone already popped up in renders online. The Galaxy S21 FE is expected to enter mass production in two months, and thanks to a Geekbench listing, we now get a few more details about its internals.

The new smartphone's benchmark scorecard popped up, listing a Snapdragon 888 chipset, 6GB RAM and Android 11.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will have Snapdragon 888, according to Geekbench

The SM-G990B smartphone is going to be a toned-down version of the Galaxy S21 flagship. The S21 FE will come with a flat 6.4” screen, frosted plastic back and this time the camera island won’t be part of the frame design like it is with the other Galaxy S21 devices.

Some sources suggest the Galaxy S21 FE will share the stage with the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 at a launch in August, although it's far more likely that it gets its own launch with the foldables soaking in all of the limelight.
