Say goodbye to monthly updates on your Galaxy S21 series phone - SamMobile https://search.app/4NASjGmVWhExryTA7

In the last 6 months I have had a A15 , A25 and A35 and now a s21 ultra performance wise and features the samsung A35 is almost as good but the camera on the s21 ultra blows away the A35 no comparison . Price wise they're both about the same used. You can even find deals on the A35 which makes it cheaper. Battery's on both are also pretty close to the same but you can't use a s pen on the A35. I guess if your not a gamer and you want another 3 years of updates go with the A35 otherwise I would definitely take the s21 ultra anyday over the A35. Don't waste your time on any other A series phone there pretty much crap.
Great phone for price (refurbished) just the ui 6.1 is laggy
I am worried about the touch screen issue of S21 ultra after one ui 6.1 update. Will be there any fix for this issue?I am disappointed about this😭

No it's not lol. It still gets software support (... moreI think software support will end next year when the phone reaches its 5 year update cycle, so there's Android 15 coming and another year of security patches. I am not sure but I believe it was like that when the S22 series got the same support, and Samsung announced the same support for the 2021 flagships.
Don't pin me on it but I think that was the case, so for a good price I think this phone can suit one still very well for the coming years.
I got this amazon renewed S21 ultra. for only 265 USD including tax.
Im very very happy with the device.
I just cant justify spending more than P14,000 (philippine pesos) for a phone.
Yet this phone beats many mid enders of today like the the Redmi Note 13 and 14 series.
The top end of the redmi note series was reaching 25,000 Pesos in my country.
Thats the price of secondhand well maintained Honda scooters already.
So ive got a phone that beats the dimensity7300 ultra, trades blows with the 8300, a camera system thats still up to date with today etc
Granted i only got 3 months warranty on the s21 ultra true but yep it has the latest update which means the OLED screen was replaced. I can tell its new because the olephobic coating is perfectly intact. Even the battery seems to have been replaced.
Ive lucked out and didnt have to spend so much money unwillingly.
To be honest even the 265USD seemed a bit tooo much for me.
Here's my two cents:
*** Keep in mind I bought this device brand new a few weeks ago, previously coming from an s10 lite which I used for almost 4 years
The Good;
1. The display is amazing! I can't tell what it is, but OMG it's gorgeous.
2. The battery is incredibly solid, which makes sense.
3. The camera is great!
4. The build quality, especially when you hold it without a case, is superb.
The Bad;
1. It comes with 128GB storage.
2. It will not get Android 16
I feel like nobody could tell whether I have an s21U or an s24U. Honestly, I don't see the point of upgrading other than battery longevity after (ab)using a device for a few years.
We've come to a point where phones are amazingly done and I can hardly see the point in breaking the bank for a phone which does exactly what mine does (I felt like this even with my old s10).
It sucks that I got the 128GB version, but keep in mind it's new and I paid $349 USD for it.
I used to play Genshin impact intensively back on my phone with a Snapdragon 855. Obviously this S21U performs lots and lots better.
I am very happy with my choice, I believe it's overrated to have the thousand dollar phone every year.
Thanks for anyone reading, any questions let me know.

No it's not lol. It still gets software support (even if it's coming to an end sometime this or next year) but it's d still a good phone.
Not to mention people use significantly older devices than this.
Anonymous, 04 Jan 2025Of course it has NFC because of payment Nevermind, I was refering to the MST feature. Searched it up, some regions had it or not.

This is likely going to be my last month with this phone before i upgrade to the S25 Ultra (depending when it comes out). I bought it in July 2021 and it was a great phone for the most part. It was fast and the camera was pretty good. It felt like a huge improvement over the Note 10+ i had before. The battery life however has become unbearable. It can't last 3 hours under use and i always have to charge it before going somewhere. Still, after 3 and a half years i guess it's to be expected. It lasted much longer than my Note 10+ which i bought in October 2019 and not even 2 years later the battery was failing
Anyway i hope the S25 Ultra improves on this, i could keep these phones for longer if they had better batteries
I also wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this phone now. While it may have been good once, it's really old now and there are better phones out there

It is one of the best flagship phones I've used in years and will continue using it as it'll go till android 15 so many more years with the S21 Ultra ❤️
Narazumono, 26 Dec 2024Better to get an S23 or 24 Ultra This is a 4 year old phone and is not supported anymore This will end with Android 15 with one more year of security updates.
i think this is a great phone for a 250 buck starting price (at least on gsmarena) and for 2021
