Samsung Android Rumors

According to a new report from GalaxyClub, Samsung may not offer any significant camera upgrades to its Galaxy S22 Ultra and could end up re-using the hardware from the S21 Ultra instead. The report clarifies that Samsung will stick to a 108MP main camera, backed by a 10MP periscope with 10x zoom, a 10MP telephoto module with 3x zoom and a 12MP ultrawide lens.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra may reuse predecessor’s camera setup

There was a big spec leak regarding the Galaxy S22 trio earlier this week which also detailed the camera setups of the S22+ and vanilla S22. Both are said to gain all-new 50MP RGBW sensors alongside 12MP telephoto lenses with 3x optical zoom and 12MP ultrawide snappers. GalaxyClub also confirms these reports and adds that the two smaller S22 members will see big camera gains compared to their predecessors.

I agree, we should not debate Exynos chipset before its new secret gpu. Mali gpu is replaced by AMD RDNA 2. Plus, RDNA Graphic speed is blowing out of the water.

Pixel binning is nothing to do with the accuracy of AF.

I don’t see any advantage using pixel binning tech nowadays, besides it has very slow AF comparing with normal 12MP sensor, that’s why apple doesn’t think to use any big pixels in small sensor, the quality not really much differ than original 12MP ...
