Performance per watt should also be taken into account as a measure of the chip's efficiency.
In all of these areas, Qualcomm has a very apparent advantage over Samsung.

This might be the most boring flagship phone upgrade that I've ever seen, and it's only been four months since the last one. (IYKYK)
Sure, the extra thin bezels look nice, but aside from that, there's not much to report other than "new chip" and "new AI features".

The regular S series is practically the only phone you would get if you like compact Android phone. Will have to see what sort of "Galaxy AI" stuff Samsung is bringing to make the Exynos worth better than the SD8gen2 on the S23.

Certainly, other phones with Snapdragon chipsets do not receive this lengthy support, precisely because Qualcomm abandons chipsets early because of mounting security issues.
But don't take my word for it, look in the public CVS vulnerability database and search for Qualcomm and Snapdragon and see for yourself.
Snapdragon may be cool and trendy for the kids who get "respect" for 5% higher benchmark numbers, but any serious user should prefer Exynos, Mediatek, Kirin, or Unisoc.

Samsung or ALL brand especially that greedy apple must stop the standard 128GB on their flagship devices, whatever apple called all of thei devices are flagship and must have 256GB standard storage

The sheer lack of ideas design language and innovation for Android devices is the reason 87% of young people choose iPhone. Androids all look the same but what Samsung are doing with their phones is arranging their own coffin and death naill by making all their phones look the same from the lowest end to the high end s series. By doing this there’s little encouragement to want to buy a flagship s24 for £1200 that looks the same as a a14 from the back. Just better camera and cpu is not going to persuade ppl to upgrade when they don’t need a better camera or faster cpu. Apple on the other hand put design thought and prestige in their phones have long software support, the best video recording, rich celebs have them so it make iPhones a status symbol. Apple acc sell the customer a dream where as Samsung just sell you a 10% faster chip in their new phone each year.

Make sure to grab S23 when this comes out. It will be cheaper and better than this and you will still have 4 years of Android OS updates.
Hzzif, 03 Jan 2024I was excited until I saw the Exynos lmao. Hopefully it's a good Exynos.People always keep hoping for a good exynos but Samsung always fails and delivers a horrible exynos. I remember that day when people are claiming that the Exynos 2200 was gonna be great because it had an AMD GPU yet look at it now and it is one of the most terrible chipsets of it generation. Geekerwan has showed that in some cases the Crapxynos 2200 was slower than the 2100. Nothing is gonna change. As long as the Exynos chips are made using Samsung's horrible fabrication, its gonna be poop
