Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra dummy confirms phone's dimensions, thinner bezels

Samsung Android Rumors

Yesterday, a leak showed off a jelly case for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, but we had to imagine the phone that is supposed to go inside. Now our imagination can be aided with photos and a video showing a dummy of the phone, courtesy of xleaks7 and Online Solitaire.

The dimensions of the S25 Ultra are written on the front of the dummy: 162.82 x 77.65 x 8.25mm. For comparison, the S24 Ultra measures 162.3 x 79.0 x 8.6mm and weighs 232g. Now, the dummy can’t tell us the weight of the new Ultra, but Ice Universe puts it at 219g. So, the new phone is a fraction of a millimeter taller, but over a millimeter narrower, a bit thinner and noticeably lighter.

This new design should go a long way towards improving the ergonomics of the phone – people had some legitimate complaints about the S24 Ultra.

Anyway, the 2025 flagship is supposed to have extra thin bezels (30% thinner than on the 2024 model, i.e. going from 3.35mm to 2.3mm). You can see the bezels represented on the dummy.

You can also see the punch hole for the selfie camera (no upgrades are expected here) and the earpiece on the top bezel. On the back, there is a circular indentation – presumably, this is where the wireless charging coil will be located (this is important info for case makers, which are the primary users of dummies such as this one).

There’s also a photo of the side of the phone, but there isn’t much to see there – just the usual buttons. You weren’t expecting an Action Button or Camera Control, were you?

this will probably be the last sendoff to the Note asthetic, which really makes me sad because I love the prospect of the cornered screen, and looking back, Samsung should've kept the Note

The tech behind under display cameras isn't developed enough yet, take a look at the z fold 6 for example. And samsung seems to have completely given up on under display cameras. Edit: this is a reply to adib beloved -'can't they ...
