I had to return my Samsung Galaxy S3 for the repairs during the warranty period five times. I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S5 but after three weeks the screen turned completely black. After much effort from my side the local store in Bloemfontein eventually indicated their willingness to replace the phone with an equivalent as the S5 has been discontinued. I am without a phone for more than three weeks now and still waiting for their decision on what would be an equivalent. What do you regard an equivalent to the samsung Galaxy S5?

mousumi , 02 Oct 2015Thanks for this review. I changed my mind. I m going for Samsung note. I had this phone and it was junk. It had so many technical issues I cant ecenter think of them all. I just got the Note 5 and it's way better than the s5 that phone was junk when I got it and ended as it too I liked how big it was and of course the android system but other than that I'd go with the Note 5 !!!
Well, after Galaxy S3 I couldn't buy anything but this one. Removable battery is one thing I can't go without. Second is microSD card support. I want to be able to upgrade some parts of the phone, not the whole device. That would be a waste of money. So, removable battery and expandable memory are for me some of the most important things I want. I want removable battery because I want to feel that my phone belongs to me and I can have access to it. I would never feel my phone belongs to me, if I wouldn't be able to change the battery or expand the memory. 3 Gb of RAM would've been better, but 2gb is ok too.
just today my s5 received from flipkart at price 22k. phone is heating so much. only started google play login and service. can somebody tell me what can i do now? plz help..
hsb1, 06 Oct 2015Is this mobile a worthy one in 2015?no,secondary cam only 2 ,now 11k phones having 5 and more
for gods sake, don't put your samsung in the water. I took a photo in a swimming pool just under the surface and the phone is now 'junk'. Spoke to vodafone and samsung, both say the phone is not sold as waterproof, whats this IS67 quality control thing? They want £190 to get a new contract and upgrade total cost £1200! Dream on
hsb1, 06 Oct 2015Is this mobile a worthy one in 2015?Only if removable battery is a must for you, in which case there is little competition unfortunately. Otherwise there are many alternatives for a similar price already.
