the phone shows missed call notification on lock screen. But does not show the name of the caller. it just shows "Missed Call" & "Missed Call" two times in 2 different rows. How to get the name of the missed caller in the 2nd row?

I am using Textra and it does the same - if I leave the conversation open, there will be no sound notification on a new incoming msg in that conversation. I kind of got used to it, so it doesnt bother me any more. I just close the conversation every time I put the phone down.

AnonD-457570, 21 Oct 2015which is better: S5 or M8?M8 much better design(metal) very beautifull and powerfull device . S5 very ungly phone but more powerfull and better specs . S5 is water resistant and it haves many sensors. S5 lower price here in greece. I preferred the gs5 but m8 realy sucks in design

Best phone in the market is HTC M8 as for S5 it has countless problems most S5 users are using iPhone or HTC M8. HTC m8 it's a beast even in 5 years to come it will a great phone

Buy s5 g900f. Very powerfull device and dont worry that its old model. Its very powerfull no lags everything is going good. I own it a week and my expirience is excellent.i want to keep it at least 2 years from today. S5 with snapdragon 801 is therion of power believe me!

Go the s5, note 3 has gps issues for starters and it does go down hill from there unfortunetly, i was looking jnto an note 3 but am going for an s5 now.

Samsung got it wrong with the default messenger on the Galaxy S5. You will get a tone alert upon first receipt of an SMS message but once you open the default messenger app and start a text conversation, there are no more tone alerts. What this means, is if you take your eyes off the phone, you wont know when you get a response in that conversation.
I have contacted Samsung and each tech support rep aren't even aware of it and once they discover it, they act as if this is "normal". No other brand does this with their default messenger. Samsung....acknowledge this is a flaw and fix it!!
