S5 is replace A7 = very possible. A8 replace Note 4 no stock?? Actually, in the beginning it already have problem and Samsung Service Center refuse to comment !!! My favorite game developer said S5 screen graphic is too unique to which they had to fix this problem for only S5 SM-G901F

Anonymous, 30 Oct 2015S5 is betters than a7I think A8 is better. Having two S5 for a year, it start showing sign of phone problem poping up. Screen at times is blank, touch screen or button failed at time.

steve, 29 Oct 2015my question is the samsung galaxy s5 water resistant Not totally and their measurement is about finger depth and very short time in the water. It always tell you to close the battery cover and back case. But if you regularly charge the phone, say once every 2 - 3 days, will the battery cover really cover tight to prevent water. Now after 1 year, the battery cover auto open by itself. But other phone do not need the cover but can do water test as the battery without cover itself is secured.

Gabes, 30 Oct 2015How does one change the default storage from the device to the SD card on Samsung Galaxy S5?Don't think this will save storage space. All apps have their program running inside the OS hidden partition. Save to; it is like a temp space for apps to run when it need. This is similar to Windows (now Android follow) do have use external flash ram to act as extra space to run the programs. Just a link to have extra ram &or memory space, and do not save much space at all.

Make sure the S5 has 32GB check the storage (in setting) and model is SM-G900F and android version is 5.0 should be fine. Offer seem reasonable. If it is S5 has 16GB model SM-G901F android 5.0.2 then do not buy, as i am having problem in using it, as sometime it start to act weird, such as apps failed to update properly, screen go blank (totally black-out). When bought new, it already have graphic &or screen is totally different from SM-G900F, which Samsung did not comment on this problem, and the game developer knew that the graphic screen is totally different, and had to get another phone with same model to verify and fix the issue. Frankly speaking, i give up on these 2 S5, a bad decision myself. Now the phone is so cheap, even the package bundle with phone is around the same as low-end model. A very disappointed Samsung 'loyal' customer, with no help from their Service Center...

sorry to ask about this here, guessing most of the S6 users must have used S5..
i m in china , and i saw 32Gb, galaxy S5 SM-G900F model used mobile and shopkeeper told that its from Japan, 1 year used mobile. cost 150$ (1000 RMB). should i go for it.? and can i update it to lollipop? will it have any rooting issues? and can i use it in other countries?? Please help me know more about it, i m new to android.

I will never understand why you idiots put the volume control on the external part of the phone. Whatever convenience in being able to raise and lower the volume on the outside of your phone while its locked is completely overshadowed by the inconvenience of your ability to accidentally lower the volume while it's in your pocket or other places and missed the phone call from your boss that could potentially get you fired if you don't answer it. What the hell is wrong with you people? Every single time I buy a new phone there is a volume button on the outside of the phone that inevitably gets lowered accidentally and has the missing phone calls. You do not even offer an option to lock the goddamn thing. There are apps that claim to be volume lockers that will lock the volume in every other in since except for the outside its external volume, which is the only reason to download such a stupid thing making the apps completely 100% pointless. If I lose my job because my boss calls me and the fucking volume has been turned down accidentally once again I am going to sue you for every penny that I would have made had I not gotten fired. Design a fucking phone where you could keep the volume where you want it and keep it that way while the phone is locked. There is no reason to have volume buttons on the outside of the phone. The convenience is entirely pointless and potentially damning.

I had a samsung galaxy S5. It is a good phone but the battery sucks. I now have a samsung galaxy note 5 and it was the best investment that i did.
