Either you have a fake S5, your used version is in badly need of optimisation and a new battery or you are simply a liar. It has to be one of the three.
My S5 is not far from being three years old and it runs perfectly. I'm still using the original battery that came with it. The battery backup is good seeing that it's basically now two year and nine months old...yet I am able to get 2hrs. 30mins. screen time on 50% power with the possibility of getting 5 hours on a full charge. If you need to learn how to get the most out of your battery then search some of my previous posts about battery optimisation.
My S5 is running Marhmallow, it's still fast and the battery is in fair condition. I use to be able to eaily get two days on fairly heavy usage. These days I only get a few hours or a day so I have to charge daily based on my usage habits. Either way it's still the best flagship I have seen to date. At the end of the day to each their own, I have no problems with mine.
Dynarage, 04 Jul 2017Probably the best phone i have ever had...Agree best of the best and i m still using today not giving up
Same here as to not buy a samsung ever again. This S5 is practically rubbish and a rip off. Because of my 1.5 yrs old S6 screwing the motherboard for the 2nd time i needed to go back to this previously used S5. Battery drains faster than a Range Rover petrol tank and lags so so badly. Storage is not storage space at all. On top of that cost of new Samsung and repair is so expensive. Do not support such cheating products.
Where I can buy this phone? The local stores are out of stock and will not bring again.
Anonymus, 27 Jun 2017Thanks for feedback i guess it's normal thenI think so. Some people don't even charge their phones above 90 percent because they think it damages the battery, but I'm not an expert.

At the end of the day I still have 30-50 percent, depending on how much I do heavy stuff.

Mine drops to 90% after about 2 to 3hours then again drop by 10 per cent in about another 2 to 3hours but after that it stays quite strong at 80% my battery is orifinal as bouthgt from Samsug outlet itself and is about 8months old. Thanks
