Clear black display with excellent cont... moreBro z1 screen is tft and has washes out color where as s5 has amoled screen which is probably the best screen but effects the screen in long run you can search Google amoled burn/degradation. ram both are equal camera s5 camera way better than z1 as there is very much noise and pixellation in 20.7 mp full resolution, Sony uses 8mp superior auto mode for good pictures I have used s5 and z1 s5 camera is superb. on the processor side the z1 uses a SD800 with quad core krait where as s5 used exynos 5422 with a7 and a15 cores both have their merit and demerit exynos is better for multitasking and has 4k video capture and last but not the least z1 heats more than s5 if you are a Sony lover I would suggest you to shell out few more bucks and go for z2 instead

I've used a wide array of phone brands, as far as android phones are concerned, and the Galaxy S5 is perhaps the best and the most versatile of all - the design is timeless, the performance is top notch, the battery life is superb, and it is IP67 certified. Even if it is a bit dated, but in my opinion, it is always better to get yesterday's flagship than buying the current mid-rangers..

vinod, 13 Jul 2015please suggest HTC M8 (android) or S5 G900F/FD (Dubai or Europe)HTC m8 is the legendary phone every body speaks highly of it in the internet. I'm using it too. I recommend it. It the only android phone that doesn't lag. As for samsung the lesser we talk about samsung the better. M8 a veteran phone. Go and buy it.

My only issue with it is the newest update has slowed EVERYTHING down noticably (Jellybean 5.0). I wouldn't know how any of the other new androids operate well enough to recommend anything else to you. It is still not a bad phone, but you will not get the same fuctionality as it used to have.

And S5 with Exynos is S5 SM-G900H.
Probably you won't get S5 with Snapdragon version in India. May be I am wrong.

I am using SII and S5 . I am facing lot of netwo... moreSorry to know about your problem. So far I have used Galaxy SII, SIII. Now I am using S5. But never faced the kind of problem as you describe. Earlier I was using only Nokia mobile at the era of Symbion OS. My last Nokia mobile was N8.
However, all the Galaxy mobile I used and using are International/Europe version i.e SII (I9100), SIII (I9300) and S5 (SM-G900F). Don't know it makes difference or not.
