I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S5 about 9 months ago. The connection started to become a problem and the battery would no longer charge. It was under warranty still so I got another one sent to me. This one less than 45 days later the the screen is black and it is again a hardware problem. Replacement on the way but this has not been a good experience for me and I probably will not purchase another Samsung product.
camera faild error comes when i open the camera version 4.4.2

kasihamza, 10 May 2015plz any one solve my problem of battery drain problem my galaxy s5 only 5 five hour used in ... moreif your s5 heats up and drains battery after lollipop update just reset and it and it will be back to normal
I absolutely love this phone. It's the best one I've ever had. The battery lasts forever and it takes amazingly clear photos. It runs really fast and I never have problems with it messing up. But, I do have one small complaint...every since I got the awesome new update it won't let me put emojis on my contacts. Which sucks. So I think they really need to fix that ASAP. Bc for me, that's a big deal. But other than that I really do recommend this phone. You won't regret it. #androidalltheway
I bought my Galaxy S5 one month ago. Overall performance is good. I'm using lolipop. Battery performance is superb. Camera is also great but front camera isn't good at all. I faced hanging problem for couple of times. But I'm satisfied. I'll say S5 is a good phone.
I think this phone is really cool, especially with the waterproofing and the fingerprint sensor. I have had an hands on with this phone, and I would buy it if I had the money to fork over, so if you have $700 to spare, I recommend it.
Yeah!, 08 May 2015My s5 actually works fine. Its 5 months old already and i havent reset my phone not even once.... moreTo Yeah:
I agree with you. I have been using my S5 since October without a SIM card. Started using it with a SIM card since January 29th and during all my usage time with my S5 not once have it froze, hung or crash. It has never rebooted unexpectedly and neither have I ever had to do a battery pull. It rarely heats up...not even during charging. The only time I notice any heating is when running games especially the big 3D games of Playstation/XBOX quality. My S5 has been perfect and battery has been excellent. I get more than a day's use most times even with heavy usage. Sometimes I get two days if I use it moderately. I have gotten more than three days already but I was hardly doing anything with it. I have the G900H Octa-core version. Many times people debate the speed between the G900H and the G900F, well when I compare them side by side the G900H performs faster. In opening things like settings and the battery usage, the G900H usually appears on the screen first. Either way every S5 is fast. I have the factory unlocked version.

before updating the handset to lollipop i did factory reset and after booting without logging in goggle account i updated it to lollipop .as today is the first day after lollipop i didn't find any lagging or battery drain problem.I have installed all my apps battery lasted for 11 hours with 3 hours of onscreen time.
If you dont want any problems after updating to lollipop... Just reset your device.... I have no problems after resetting my phone

i-song, 07 May 2015why S5 cpu tempereture so hot?
n battery fast flag....
what is the problem! There is not enough room for a proper heat sink. Like in the computer, fans are used to make sure the CPU stays cool. A phone requires the thin backing as a heat dissipation source. Granted, it isn't efficient but it is necessary.
The CPU gets hot because a smart phone(all) has many active processes and the CPU is rather quick so as a result, the heat buildup is relatively high. Keep in mind that no 2 CPU even though are the same type do not function exactly the same. some are faster, slower or even faulty which in that case is eligible for exchange via warranty if it is insured.
I hope this helped you.
