My only issue with it is the newest update has slowed EVERYTHING down noticably (Jellybean 5.0). I wouldn't know how any of the other new androids operate well enough to recommend anything else to you. It is still not a bad phone, but you will not get the same fuctionality as it used to have.

Samsung SM-G900I for Asia
Samsung SM-G900K/G900L/G900S for Korea
Samsung SM-G900M for Vodafone
Samsung SM-G900A for AT&T
Samsung SM-G900T for T-Mobile
Samsung SM-G900W8 for Canada
And S5 with Exynos is S5 SM-G900H.
Probably you won't get S5 with Snapdragon version in India. May be I am wrong.

I am using SII and S5 . I am facing lot of netwo... moreSorry to know about your problem. So far I have used Galaxy SII, SIII. Now I am using S5. But never faced the kind of problem as you describe. Earlier I was using only Nokia mobile at the era of Symbion OS. My last Nokia mobile was N8.
However, all the Galaxy mobile I used and using are International/Europe version i.e SII (I9100), SIII (I9300) and S5 (SM-G900F). Don't know it makes difference or not.

Samsung Phone Network is really very bad .
I am using SII and S5 . I am facing lot of network issues like
1 > Cell switch . From One room to another room if I move
I will get call drop or no signal . Initially i thought its BSNL operator issue
Later on when I used Nokia phone I never face same issue .
2 > HLR/VLR switch . From Bangalore to AP when I travel
I used to manually search for network and need to register to network .
It never auto select the network , where as it work properly for nokia phones .
I will get network automatically without manual search for nokia
3 . Even though there will be no signal I can see 2~3 network signal strength on phone
4. International Korea sim will work well on Nokia where as on II & S5 (india) i tried not working .
