I purchased this handset SM-G900I in september 2014 .My handset fell from my pocket and the screen got broken.I gave it to the service center named Karuna managment as this is the ony service centre in Kolkata which repairs S5.Its been there since 27.4 15 and they still don't have the spare parts .This is a flagship model and its only one service center in kolkata so they should have all the spare parts ready for the flagship.I called them up today and they are saying it will take another three to four days more.

Guys, i have MAYBE found something for those who gets contacts forced close / sluggish contacts/messages opening :
please check in your contacts app if you see several of them merged as "double saved on device" meaning :
Enter your contacts, one by one and check at the bottom the icons showing where they are saved.
If you see 2 device icons, separate them and delete the least important contact created.
Repeat that until the end of your list and please report back here if you got any improvement.

i purchased s5 g900f box pack few weeks back and it was already upgraded to lolilop. i didnt have any problem so far no battery issues no lags. its a fantastic fone. lolipop is more stable i dnt have any issues

There are plenty of people on this Forum warning users about the flaws with Lollipop and yet when you do install it you come on here complaining about it. I notice that there are users STILL asking when Lollipop will be available in their country. They deserve all they get!
