SamsungLove, 16 Jun 2023very good phojne even now, just bttery life is horrible as it barely lasts 15 minutes when gam... moreOn my S5 i got around the battery problem by buying the extended battery and case "the battery is crap, so toss it), i bought a LightningCell battery, which "hangs on like relatives looking for a money handout" down to 1% and can still pop off screenshots at that "but doesn`t last a full day", i then added an Oppo A52 battery and and old laptop battery which is the same as a Nintendo Switch - battery-HAC-003 and it runs for 15~18hrs on youtube in full screen and brightness. Now all i need to do is 1: get around making it work on VoLTE and 2: upgrade the OS to at least Android 9 "the HungryJacks app Wants 9 to run". Then i`ll keep it till 4G in Australia ends in 2030..
BMHater12, 20 May 2024I remember my mom owning this, and I used her phone alot back then lolI Still have one, it works great and has done since day 1, apart from battery replacements, the Only problem i have had was to replace the Charge Port, taking the screen off to get into it is fiddly and takes a little patience, but apart from that is was any easy job if you take your time. I had a Galaxy ACE before that and upgraded the firmware to and S2 and worked like a charm as well. The S5 still has more combined features including Better PPI than most of Samsung newer Flagships which are all missing one thing or another between models. Being a 4G phone "Should have seen it through till 2030 in Australia, But because of the industries "Half-Wit ideas to Force you to buy a New Phone". Now we have VoLTE i have to upgrade before the 1st September, i Have to Shop through more models than you can poke a stick at for a model with most "because ALL of the features" are not on newer models. Headphone sockets, Dual Video Call. PPI`s are Crappy and even 4k is missing between models. As usual, "IF it is too good, take it of the market" and sell you whatever you will settle for.. As for your Comment of "my mom owning this, and I used her phone a lot back then", my 36y/o Son calls mine a SOC/POS, But Still uses it every time he gets in my car, because the reception is better than his S21.. lmao

I have Samsung Galaxy S5. we almost 10 year!! but which most best stable... moreThe rom i would recommend is ViperOS based on android 9, most modern apps will run on it just fine, ram is very good, it's not fast but it is not unuseably slow eather, it's ok for light use, but i would recommend that you download open camera as the default camera app hasn't all the features. Give it a try and let me know what you think of it

Are this Galaxy S5 is better for running PUBG Mobile in Lastest Version Android 6.0? I think 2ghz is better if with 2gb of Ram. I love to buy Old Lagendary Gaming SmartPhone for my collection and still can running and play in 2024.
This was a good phone; it was my first exposure to Android (and smartphones, in general). I miss some of the features from it, like the IR for TV control and the removable battery.
